The good thing about all of this is it might be opening a certain general manager's eyes to the problems within the team.

as much as I hate them the Yankees aren't ever out of a game. It's not looking good, but we will see. If friggin Joba could have not lost his shit after A-Rod's error then it might have been a different game. Just a note as I type this, nice play by Posada gets his glove ripped off by Figgins and still catches a foul popup with his hands.

Yankees had no business losing to these guys tonight. I know guys step up when guys are out and what not. But you had their starter rocked and should have stepped on their neck. Instead Joba the drunk let's them back in the game and Bruney gives up a HR to a guy who has 2 all year, a few pitches after he turned on a pitch and just missed a HR. Nice job Giradi. Glad you guys are a top competition....well wait looking at the head to head, nevermind. I will just take my $450 loss and go to sleep. Could have been a great day, will end it up about $300 instead of about a grand.

Your stats were slightly off, and not in Saunders' favor.  He pitched 7 innings in his start against them last season, not 6, and he gave up 2 earned runs in Yankee Stadium in his 2006 start, not 3.  Saunders let me down tonight, but the fact is that the Angels are now 5-0 as home dogs behind Saunders, and the team has won 17 of his 19 starts when he takes the mound with the team on a losing streak.
