sparky, I am a huge Yankee fan, but I am not a blind squirrel
I know your a Yankee fan. Just messing with ya. But how can you say they're bullpen will blow it? They've been pitching well of late. Especially with Hughes being available every day now and Girardi has been smart enough to put him in the 8th inning. Tomko is really the only worry, maybe Bruney too. But Coke has been doing good in the 7th too. They finally have a consistant 7-8 duo to lead to Mo.

Joba needs to take his ass back to the bullpen, a great start for this guy is 6 innings max. That's barely half the game, which he rarely sees anyway. You come in town and play the Halos minus Vlad and Hunter and you still suck ass.

I agree but the only problem is who goes into the rotation? Hughes has been NASTY in the pen, bringing him back into the rotation is very stressful on the arm. So that leaves Aceves who wasn't overly affective and didn't last long, and someone from the minors. Having Hughes in the 7th, Joba in the 8th and Mo in the 9th equals the best setup in baseball. I say get Halladay and worry about the rest once he's pitched a complete game.
