Look, if the total has already gone OVER and they call the game official after five full innings, the wager should count.
Doesn't make any sense at all, how the hell can the wager not count, THE OVER ALREADY HIT!
The books need to get this rule corrected.
The rule should be that once the over has hit whether the game is official or not the bet should count, it went over the posted total.
If the game is official after five full innings of play and the total is under the game total, than the under should win and the over should be A loss. Plain and simple. In other words.
ALL TOTALS BETS SHALL BE FINAL ACCORDING TO THE FINAL SCORE WHENEVER THEY CALL THE GAME OFFICIAL.
Hit the nail on the head here... if the game is called, and it has ALREADY GONE OVER THE TOTAL... that wager should count! The books have a rediculous rule.. got fucked earlier by the same situation in a Red Sox game... game went over and then they called it, cancelled wager... that's 2 legitamit wins I was fucked over on....
This pisses me off bigtime!

That wont work,, then you will bitch when they close out a 5-4 game in the 6th inning and you had the 9.5 over. its part of the rules,, we all know that going in

this is because the books would lose tons of money here, as ppl would be furious if you graded a low scoring game after 5 innings a loss without giving the full 9 inns, and the other way around most games at 5 innings are going to be under so are the books really just going to give out wins for unders after 5.

Much higher odds of a game being under the total with only 5 inngs played, absolutely no reason for the books to just give out cash like that. anytime i see theres a high chance of rain, id just take the full game under and probably have a 65% of winning.
The current rules make the most sense, but obviously ppl on the right side are going to cry about it if thier bet gets cancelled. Just realize this shit will even out over a course of a baseball season and your losing bets will get rained out as well.
Not for me, I never play unders

thats a badt strategyu as usually unders are the biggest money maker,, they might not seem it, but in the long run they are
Well, I've done really well with overs this year, up 10 units so far, and I can't take any unders knowing that one bad pen can blow it up in one inning...
