Yeah its not so much that he is a fan of them, but that he is there supporting his fans opponent. That what bugged me about the situation. He could have been there without a hat and things would have been acceptable.

For a guy that is supposed to be so polished and always doing the right thing and saying the right thing ... yes this is immature.
So freaking what if he's a yankees fan since way back... he is an icon of the city and should be rooting for the person. I'd say he's really just laying the foundation for a trade down the road.
