That was a sign a fan was holding up in the stands last night.
Yes, Uke, we did. Caps off to the Brewers. Best baseball team I've watched in years. No big payroll, no big egos, just team baseball. Best caught, best relief pitching, and best managed. Murphy was a magician the way he managed the line-up, sitting in the dugout like a monk in a monastery all the while. Brewers would have swept if they hadn't run out of pitchers. And the 22 year old rookie from Mississippi played like it was the field of dreams. Hope it doesn't go to his head. He could be a great one.
For the bettors who saw their potential, Brewers were the best money making post-season team to come along in years. Don't remember one so profitable, maybe the Reds sweeping Oakland in the '90 series. And I don't recall making bets with such confidence they would cash.
Kudos to the Rays also. they are a fine team too. They were just out matched against Milky. Chandler Simpson is a great baseball player. He won't be in Tampa for long.
Uke, we did it! Amen, brother.
