As a Phillies fan who was at saturdays game at Shea... I would just like to say while it was sweet sweeping you guys 3 times this season, and dominating the season series 12-6, I think you guys have this division on lock. You all just better hope we don't take the wild card, because then you're in big, big trouble.
haha.
PS, I witnessed 2 Phillies fans get straight-up sucker-punched by Mets fans on saturday, as well as seeing a number of Mets fans rooting for players to be injured.
Really classy.
I was there for that saturday game as well,, and i happened to be sitting in the same area as well for that game.. mezz section 26 (by the left field side) , and one of the philly fans threw beer at the guys gf' and the other one that got hit with the water bottle,, but you philly fans are no picnic either

Burnett can get wild but has been outstanding of late. In his last 50 2/3 innings, he has allowed just 25 hits , 10 earned runs (a 1.77 ERA) and has a 46:18 K:BB ratio. Active Red Sox hitters are only 16 for 97 (.166) lifetime against Burnett with just 8 walks in 105 plate appearances. Meanwhile, Lester has struggled in 4 out of 5 road starts and has accumulated an ERA close to 5.00 in 9 starts (3 of those starts against TB and 2 against Baltimore). Toronto crushes left handers, hitting almost 50 points higher against southpaws.
Thanks for the input..keep up the Good work

GH...what do you think of the over 11 in the yankees game? Alot of the batters on Baltimore have awesome numbers vs Moose, and you gotta figure the Yankees will score at least 5 runs....I'm thinking both teams score at least 5 runs each...Joba still won't be able to pitch tonight cause he pitched 2 innings 2 nights ago in Boston...and we all know about Baltimore pen...
I can see the logic for the over but 11 is a lot of runs....it's the only way I could see it, but I don't think I will play...GL

Hey Gamehunter, for the KC/Wsox game 1st 5 innings on 5dimes, i only see 4.5 and 5. Do you think they will actually have a 5.5 later on? Under 5 is -115 and under 4.5 is +115.
Also, is there a reason why the Toronto game where you had -116 jumped all the way to -140 in 3.5 hours?
Thanks again for the help and insight.

At 11:15 AM above, I corrected the White Sox/KC under to 5 runs....I think there are a lot of injuries for the Red Sox...the line is going crazy!

I am a value player. I do not lay 165-175 on baseball games and definitely would not ever do it on the road. There is abssolutely no value in the plays. Should both teams win, yes, they are both desperate for the wins, but the lines should be closer to 130-140 so you are paying through the nose for the public sides.
GL, but laying those types of numbers, particularly on the road is a recipe for disaster in my opinion over the long haul.

Hey Game. I have 1 question that I always wanted to ask but keep forgetting. I know you keep track of your win/losses and your units won and loss but have you ever kept track of how you done in 1st 5 inning games with your unders?
Is there a reason why anytime you play the over/under you played the UNDER like 100 percent of the time? I don't think once have i read your posts since late July when you picked an over in 1st 5 innings
Or have you picked an over in 1st 5 innings before because i never recalled once you done that?
Thanks.

Surprised to not see you taking a shot on the O's tonight. I'm about to make a post as to why I think this is a good spot to back a (+230) doggie
GL
I definitely wanted to pull the trigger but Leicester has shown asolutely nothing on the road yet and now will be in a packed Yankee Stadium. It's the only way I could play the game, but I just can't do it.....

I plan to review my own numbers after the seaosn ends and in preparation for next season to make some more improvements....I wish I had the time now....I prefer to play a lot of unders for 5 innings because most of that is based upon the starting pitchers and because in my opinion, the more a batter sees a pitcher in a game, the more likely he is to prduce...therefore, on unders I prefer a shorter window of innings and on an over I prefer a longer window...I will also factor in bullpens....if the teams have solid pens, I will consider the under for the whole game...if they are horrible, I certainly want the over for the whole game..sometimes, i am indifferent...I like the White Sox under this evening for 5 innings mostly because I like what I see in Floyd and meche lately however, I have no problem with the game under in this case either as I don't mind the pens....
