Hi papa good luck in your mission....I started off in mid March with $25 and am at over 4K waiting on my 2nd payout to arrive to buy a new 60" TV =)

I started with only parlays and once I build a bankroll I did straight wagers, props and parlays. Starting with straight wager is tough better to do a few small parlay tickets and as soon as 1 hits off to the yard you go!! BOL

You won't feel as bad losing $5-$25 on parlay tickets vs $100 straight bets and when u hit u be thrill to start off with better bank roll

pennies is $50 plays. The more you play, the more you pay to the house. I like BayAreas idea. Play dogs in parlays.

You can try to polish a penny into a dime, but how long are you going to rub that penny for? quarter dog parlays is your ticket to build. Once you get half way there go big on single plays.

RL Ari and RL KC  as well as ML parlay....

That's how you build.   It might not hit, but if it does you have room to work with. I haven't run the numbers but you're going to have to hit like 75% to hit your goal over a few months with the plays you're doing.
