The Gambling Gods are so cruel sometimes.

But I understand that for every big winning streak, there must be an equally impressive losing streak.

And so it continues.

I have lost eleven wagers in a row, which has tied my all-time record.

Today, I am on pace to set a new record if I lose my twelfth in a row.

As patient as I have been throughout this thing, as strong as my will has been in taking this punishment, my mindset has suddenly changed in regards to this seemingly inevitable losing streak.

I will not accept a twelfth straight loss. I don't give a fuck about probability and statistics. Enough is enough, I'm one of the best sports handicappers on Planet Earth when I'm on and I'm not going to just settle for another fucking loss. 

I'm not going to win today because I'm "due", I'm not going to win today because of "probability", I'm not going to win today because of "luck". I'm going to win because I will do everything in my power to get this win, even if it's the last win of my career.

I will be back later on to make history...or prevent it from happening.

SEATTLE MARINERS -1.5


Line is crazy. Jeter, A-Rod and Posada all are looking like scratches for this game and Mariano Rivera is also banged up. C.C.'s is 0-1 against Seattle this year giving up 10 hits, 3 walks and 6 earned at Yankee Stadium last month. Since Posada will most likely sit, that would mean that Molina would be behind the plate for Sabathia tonight. Molina's only caught twice for C.C. and Sabathia's gone 1-1 in those two starts, as opposed to 11-6 with Posada or Cervelli. Add onto that the Yanks went 11 innings in New York last night and now have to fly all the way to the West Coast to face Snell, a pitcher they've never seen before. 

Snell was admittedly nervous in his first home outing with Seattle and it showed, but with that one under his belt, I see him coming out and just pitching to his capability. Before that, he had went at least six innings deep in 4 of his last 5 starts and never gave up more than 3 earned runs in those 4 starts. C.C., on the other hand, has given up at least 5 earned runs in four of his last eight starts.

The new streak starts now.

BOL man, but you're trying to break your streak by laying -1.5 on a team that's scored 2 runs in its last 23 innings?

The streak is so ridiculous that I feel it should be enjoyed by all. Just something to shake your head at and chuckle about. I've come to realize that since I've had so many incredible winning streaks, it's only natural I should expect losing streaks like this once in a while and I shouldn't lose my head over it. In the past, I would've went ballistic and lost countless bankrolls trying to stop the bleeding. While I've certainly been drained of plenty ducats during this streak, it'[s not nearly as drastic as it would've been in the past. This thing will turn around and I really believe it's today. 

And yes, the Mariners -1.5. Hell, I even considered -2.5. 

When you consider that I've lost my last nine baseball wagers by a total of 42 runs, it only makes sense to lay a couple runs.

No offense or anything dude, but i think thats why your on the losing streak.  I've watched the yankees past 50 games, and 20 of them full games at least.  They are freaking hot right now best team in the majors.  Whats the price your getting that RL for?  Why don't u just lay the +184 ML?

I would wait for the lineups and then small play on Mariners for value.
to end a losing streak there are many other better games on the short board then this one.
 
while you are at it, why dont you take the Generals over the Harlem Globetrotters?
better yet, do them alternate RL as well

I live in New Jersey. Trust me, I watch the Yankees.

Yanks are 3-7 on the road in their last ten road games against winning teams. They're 2-4 at Seattle since 2007 and they're also going to be missing three starters today. 

Getting over +300 on the alternative runline is real nice if you believe the Mariners are going to win, as 19 of the last 22 Yankees games have been decided by two runs or more.

I'm pretty sure 19 of those games yankees won 12-14 of them.  So if your going against 65% lets say.  That is an amount of probability + value i would never lay.  Regardless im thinking of locking the yanks -1.  I will let u know so we could talk smack on the yankee/m's in game thread.

Look this guy said the royals 2 days ago and the won so hie lying to all of us ... and as for mariners -1.5, and you wonder why u have a losing streak... and why not just ml them and get the profit, why would you rl them and lay down chalk seems senseless any way  i  guess i'll just fade away  and make some money on the way..

Other than the pivotal grudge match against the Red Sox, do you realize who the last three home series the Yanks had were against?

Baltimore, Oakland and Baltimore. Three bottom-of-the-barrel teams. 

Seattle is not one of those teams. They've just taken two home series against the White Sox and Rays, and even though they are essentially out of the playoff race, they're still playing hard. 

Mariners got this.

And @ the folks who think I'm losing on purpose for attention. Getting a reputation for being a loser and losing lots of monies really gets me off. 

I also like being dominated and degraded by female bodybuilder dominatrixes in my spare time.

Actually, I took the Royals yesterday and they got slaughtered.

Two days ago, I took the Mets and they got slaughtered.

Funny thing is that the Royals won on the day I took the Mets, and the Mets won on the day I took the Royals. 

Gambling Gods are fucking with me.
