Mariners rookie starter Logan Evans did his job well, but the bullpen lost the game in the top of the 7th.
In the bottom of the 9th, the Mariners had both the tying and winning runs in scoring position with only one out, but it was at that moment that the unclutch Julio Rodriguez decided to look at a full count pitch for strike three. That was weak, and so was Cal Raleigh’s slow grounder to second to end the game. That completed Raleigh’s 0-5 night.

It's changing now in a big way, as the media can't ignore the facts anymore, and now they realize they may have a possible Johnny Bench, or maybe even Piazza type of "blue collar" star at the catcher position, but its shameful how long it's taken it to happen.
