Thx POIZEN - It looked like kind of a no brainer - I think we really need to do some homework when the only factor eliminating a game is a win/loss streak.

HOU*

Only play I see on the board today!  Although TB/MIN game will probably be a play once they get the pitching matchups confirmed.

HOU is extremely borderline for me today.  McClellan sits at #41 in the ratings however his numbers have been great -  not sure what in the ratings is keeping him so low.  Also Figueroa has been god awful.  Expect STL to get an easy W here - won't be making this play.

Anyone care to explain why McClellan not rated higher with a 2.16 ERA?  Obviously something I am missing as to how the NPERA is calculated and don't have time right now to figure it out!

Analysis of Borderline Play:

TOR - Freddy Garcia has pitched very well in his first 2 starts making him #1 on the second list of the ratings.  IMO that alone is enough for me to duck this one.  Until he shows me different probably not a good idea to bet against the Bombers at the Stadium.  Side note:  O/U @ 9 might be worth a look.  Romero #18 in ratings....Kinda get the feeling this is going to be a 4-1, 5-2 Yankees victory.

Ok according to the dog system there are two games today 4-30-11 basball games Cards and the Cubs

Cards @ Atl +130  Atl at home second game following a loss with the cards starting pitcher stinking it up lately??? I would lean towards Atl here???

the other game is cubs at arizona +115 cubs finally win one after losing four in a row so it qualifys... no way no how am I putting a nickel on the cubs here.. I will continue to monitor and look into this but no plays today for me here...

you guys keep skipping playsalthough you do have to cherry pk plays every now and the although u can get burned, however keeping your plays a small % of bankroll wont hurt you

toronto is a play also,and you could consider k.c at even money, but it opened a pk so that play is iffy

OFFICIAL SYSTEM PLAYS for 4/30:

Both plays are Borderline today IMO:

STL - Brandon Beachy sits at #23 in the ratings making this a borderline play for me.    His last two starts have been on the road and been quality.  12IP 5H 2ER 14K 2BB.  His two starts before that were at home and less than stellar: 11.1 IP 14H 9ER 10K 6BB.  On the flip side Westbrook is coming off his best start of the year for the Cards and they just put up a ton of runs in HOU- I think we can safely fire here.

TOR - Burnett at #30 and has pitched very well.  Don't want to sound like a broken record, but its tough to bet against the Bombers at home...I think they put the hurt on Drabek today....gonna pass on this one.

An UNOFFICIAL Play that might be worth a look - ARZ/CHC U9 Garza vs. Kennedy #17 and #27 in the ratings.

I found last year with this system to use the top 25 instead of the top 20.  That would throw the Cards out of today's plays and only leave the Bluejays at +140.
