The Oakland A's are going to win alot of games this year...

I would put Anderson and Gio up against any other 4th and 5th starter in MLB.   I definitely missed the boat on them...their WS odds have dropped 150 to 1 to 35 to 1 in a week.

Ill take 35 to win 1 they dont win the world series.  That lineup of theirs is beyond horrible.  Im not sure if any of the 9 in their starting lineup would start on the Angels, Yankees, Red Sox, Twins, or DRays.

There's no such thing as value when a team has no chance of winning the world series!  The A's should be like 10000-1 to win the WS, even then I wouldn't put a penny on them cause I know they have very little chance, especially with that minor league line-up they put on the field.  Agree that there pitching is above average, but the A's are just off to a good start winning games vs. marginal teams/teams not playing well.  So if u want to put some money on them to win WS, just let me know I'll book it and give u 300-1!

are you kidding me? they will never get to the WS with their lineup. pitching only carries you until maybe july, but the arms being to tire by then and it all becomes the bats.

I know its early, way to early to predict anything but the A's do look solid and seattle wont beat them tomarrow.

A's right now remind me of the Royals last year.  Started very well the first 2 months.  Had and do have great pitching but some how found a way to start slumping and didn't make the playoffs.  The season is so long that it takes a very strong minded locker room to grind it out day after day in such a long season.  don't see strong leadership in the A's, just a lot of young, good talent.  I still think the Mariners win the AL West even though they suck right now.

I personally like their entire pitching staff, but their line up makes sick to my stomach.  hard to throw cash on them when you are not sure where the run support is coming from

 they're def going to have to do it with pitching...I think they have a good shot at leading the league in ERA so a lot of nights 3 runs will get it done.

So you were being serious?  I team who's 3 and 4 hitters have career OPS+'s of 95 and 102 is a legitimate threat while a pitcher that was 11-11 with a 4.02 ERA last is going to win 20 in his 2nd year with that lineup?

I guess Ive seen crazier things but not much.
