Hey guys...

Just wanted to say is thanks for all the great emails and how its helped you. I dont expect everyone to think, act, or wager like me. I'm just trying to show that if you turn off the ACTION junkie in you, there is many winning formulas out there. I may not win a ton of $, but after my 1st and only losing year 4 years ago, I know I will NEVER pay a book again.

Shady, I rarely post on here. I simply observe and utilize the data as I see fit. I discussed some things with you on twitter under a different handle. Sent a friend request. I'll PM you my twitter handle if you want to confirm. Would love to have access to the spreadsheet again. It sucks some dickbag comes in and stirs the pot and f's everything up.

BTW...I fully support the member's only blog/forum. Not sure how to make that happen but that way you determine who's in the conversation.

morning guys - just a general question, do any of you use sagarin ratings at all? i am looking at the pro line games for this week and am looking to add additional strength to the figure.

ND - already a pro line play, looks like its an insider angle play as well, based on sagarin they should be getting +6.5 so it is being backed on multiple levels. just wondering how useful the additional sagarin rating is.

Shady, general question. Based on reading these threads, is your general goal with gambling to find certain situations/trends to do a chase (2 or 3 game)? Or are you looking for optimal situations for single bets? Or a combo?

Reason I ask, looking at the old spreadsheet, during MLB (before my time here) it looked like everything surrounded 3 game chases, whereas now it looks like single bets on NCAAF totals and NFL.

Also, does anyone know if there is a pill I can take to reduce my action junkie tendencies?

I dont always Chase. But I like to always be looking for a 3 Game window to recover my $ if I lose in G1. Semper & I ALWAYS wager to win G1, but if it loses I like G2 & G3 to get it back.

In MLB this is our win %

G1 60%, if the game went to G2 80%, and if it went to G3 and won 90%. But accepting that remaining 10% loss is = to 5x a beginning wager. When I Chase my goal is to go 10-1

The only football Chase I have set up so far is NFL score 1st and NFL totals. Still trying to find my way with other scenarios.

Newfie, have you been keeping track of NFL 2.5 set line? If so, would be interested to hear how thats been fairing.
