The Boston Red Sox easily have the best lineup in MLB

He was referring to how K-Rod prematurely celebrated before Castillo caught that ball. I actually find there to be a difference between Joba and K-Rod. K-Rod did it on Saturday after getting the 3 outs with a 4 run lead. Do you consider that the right time to celebrate? Like I've stated before...it's good to do when you get out of big jams. Whats wrong with showing emotion in a big spot. Burnett did it after loading the bases with no outs and getting out of it. And that was in the 3rd inning. Every inning is big in baseball. Joba just happens to get himself into and out of big jams often.

And his response will be, because Papelbon has a World Series ring and Joba doesn't...which is pretty irrelevant. The Red Sox can go 18-0 against the Yanks this season, but it's what happens in October that means everything. Remember when the Yanks were 6-0 or 8-0 or something like that against the Tigers in 06? Didn't mean a damn thing in October. I'm just saying.

I agree that the Offensive games are much better to watch than the 2-1 pitching duels with crappy pitchers on the mound. But guess what wins in October ?

Depends on their bullpen.

Gotta go with the Rays and I'm not sure why they haven't been mentioned. Lead the majors in runs scored, stolen bases, walks, RBI's, then in the top 3 in each of the following categories; team average, team OBP, team slugging, and team total hits.

Crawford

Longoria

Pena

Zobrist

Bartlett

Burrell

Good point...they haven't been mentioned though because Upton has been hurt and started off really slow. And Barlett and Burrell have been on the DL. Zobrist is hitting really well and Kapler has been hitting well of late. Wait until Barlett comes back and Burrell is actually hitting again. But Burrell hasn't hit a damn thing in his rehab starts or since he came back.

Yeah, Upton starting late really seems to have hurt his average this year, however, he seems to be coming around. The emergence of Zobrist and Barlett (before injury) has been a huge surprise for this team. As for Burrell, he doesn't seem to be filling in well at all as a full time DH, I think his time has passed him.

I did it yesterday with the Mets...I quickly turned my loyalty back around after 4-0 and started cheering for my team again.
