This is one of those allergies or whatever where it doesn't appear a whole lot of research has been done.

The closest thing I have ever found is a term called photic sneeze reflex. Now, as far as why it happens, it is believed to be a malfunction of nerve signals, so that is why some people sneeze when stepping out into sunlight.
