That was good value. Love to see the Dodgers get their "value" overspending up the ass however Walter is fraudulently doing things via "private credit, private equity, insurance companies, et al" for 3 World Series lol. Well 2020 doesn't count for shit in my book that's not anything close to a season. Yep they won the last two and made the playoffs every season since the ownership change. They also lost more way more than they won buying All Stars at every position. I love when that happens guess it's not all rigged or there comes a reckoning eventually.

As recently as this morning I was ready to get down up to 100k on the Brewers to win the series if I could get the prices I wanted. But I didn’t get the prices I wanted, not even close. Up until thirty minutes before the first pitch, no sportsbook in Las Vegas had better than +140 today. Circa jumped from +140 to +155 about 15 minutes before the game started. I bet $10,000, and if I’d had more in my account, I’d have bet more.
So with “only” $65,000 at risk instead of the $100,000 I was ready to risk, I won’t be celebrating if and when the Brewers clinch this series. Instead I’ll be sitting there stoically thinking about the $35,000 that I DIDN’T get down.
I’m sick that way.
Sick that way. As expected, I wasn't celebrating last night when Jackson Chourio snagged that line drive in left field to end the NLCS.

In HarDix's thread I posted about my plan to bet on the Brewers to sweep the series, but rather than bet any of the rip-off odds the sportsbooks always offer on the sweep prop, I was going to attempt it game-by-game. I started with $5,000 dedicated to this idea, so after winning with the Brewers at even money in Game 1, then +120 in Game 2, and +155 in Game 3, that meant in order to complete the game-by-game sweep prop, I would have to bet $56,100 on the Brewers +140 and/or +135 in Game 4.
Problem was, that didn't seem like a good idea to me for two reasons. First, I thought the best play of the series was on the Brewers in Game 2 as home dogs. I thought the second best play was on the Brewers in Game 3 with still so many fans and bettors refusing to consider that the "mighty" Dodgers could fall behind 3 games to none. So it didn't make sense to risk a huge 56k on Game 4 when I had "only" 23k on Game 2 and "only" 27k on Game 3. Second, after I learned yesterday that Shane Drohan would open the game for the Brewers and that Dustin "Bozo" May was scheduled to get the bulk innings, I said no way to Bozo May. He is my least favorite Brewer, an ill-advised trade deadline acquisition who had brought his trademark mediocrity with him to Milwaukee. No way was I placing a monster-sized bet on a game in which I knew he would be prominently involved.
I had placed $5,000 bets on the Brewers +150 and +143 within an hour of Game 3's conclusion, but yesterday I refused to add to that. And then Bozo entered the game and immediately began getting tagged. He missed his location badly on the pitch that Iceberg Ohtani launched into the right center field pavilion, and I watched expressionless as Ohtani celebrated like I've never seen him celebrate before. I felt com-PLETE-ly justified in my decision to limti my Game 4 action to $10,000.
But, the Dodgers didn't have even one win in them, and they never scored again. So was I happy to see the Brewers make their comeback? No. What, why not??
Because I'm sick that way.

@MrBator
I got destoyed in college football and nfl this past weekend so by 7 pm on Sunday night, my funds were limited before game 1.
My plan all weekend was take football profits and roll over to brewers win series, World series, and game by game betting after you kept marketing for those bets with strong conviction the last month it seems like. Ended up just taking Brewers game 1, 3, and 4 (never bet game 2). No series bets or World series future.
So last night as the brewers completed the sweep and I went undefeated in my 3 single game bets for the series, you think I was happy? Hell NO!!! Why? Cause I am also sick like that lol

I completely understand. The amount you won was outweighed by the stacks and stacks you could've and should've won. It stings to think about it and then dwell on it. Yesterday was the single largest winning day I've ever had (with all the series bets and series prop bets clinching), but was I all smiles at the end of the night?
Yeah, right.
