I’d expect a series price for the Brewers / Dodgers to be more favorable, probably +100? Versus Brewers / Braves, I’d expect the Brewers to be closer to -140. Is that about what you’d guess? Will hope for the dodgers to come through for a better series price in NLCS.
I'll be rooting for the great Yoshinobu Yamamoto to deliver tomorrow night. If the Sons of Dave Roberts lose his start, they will be finished for 2026.

If the Brewers eliminate the Padres, the NLDS money will be rolled onto the Brewers in the NLCS. That's $35,000 plus $20,000 in winnings, or $55,000 on the Brewers to eliminate either the Braves or the Dodgers. I want it to be the Dodgers, but they can't beat good teams, so it will be the Braves. Then, if the Brewers reach the World Series, I will roll over the NLCS money onto the Brewers one more time. Am I seeing this correct? Early series line on Brewers/Dodgers has the Brewers @ +160?

Is that about what you’d guess? I'd make the Brewers larger than just -140 over the Braves, but that might be my Brewers bias. I think the oddsmakers might even have to make the Dodgers the favorite due to the enormous number of bettors who don't yet realize that the Dodgers are unable to beat any playoff team 4 times in a span of just 7 games.
Series price on Brewers surprised me. A lot. Did you execute your plan MrB?

Actually, now it’s 55k. I waited all day for ANY sportsbook in Vegas to offer better than the crummy +140, and one finally did. I bet 14k on the Brewers +145 and now have a total of $55,000 to win $83,260 to win the series.
That is an average price of +151.4.

The same book that changed from +140 to +155 last night just changed from +140 to +155 again tonight, so I just added ten more. Now $65,000 to win $98,760.

No. As recently as this morning I was ready to get down up to 100k on the Brewers to win the series if I could get the prices I wanted. But I didn’t get the prices I wanted, not even close. Up until thirty minutes before the first pitch, no sportsbook in Las Vegas had better than +140 today. Circa jumped from +140 to +155 about 15 minutes before the game started. I bet $10,000, and if I’d had more in my account, I’d have bet more.
So with “only” $65,000 at risk instead of the $100,000 I was ready to risk, I won’t be celebrating if and when the Brewers clinch this series. Instead I’ll be sitting there stoically thinking about the $35,000 that I DIDN’T get down.
I’m sick that way.
