Sharks, how long do you suspect the Reds will be able to maintain their hot run? This is baseball, where even the best teams go through some very rough patches. I think the Reds loss yesterday might have been the start of a hitting slump which I believe will continue with them facing another good pitcher in Gallardo.
The Brewers have been playing really bad lately, and they just got embarrassed by the Cards. The Brewers are looking for a win, and what better place to do it than at home. For those that place high stock in starting pitching, Gallardo has been hot of late. I expect him to have a strong finish to the season. He's also the ace of the team, and aces are supposed to get their teams out of losing streaks.

I am leaning a bit differently than you today on couple plays, however I have only gazed through my match-up research.. Looks like Chipper Jones won't be playing for the Braves tomorrow, but they may not need him with the way the Phillies have been inconsistently playing. I was initially leaning towards the hot Mariners team against Baltimore, but I may just have to read through your whole write up now incase I am missing out on any key insight information..

Ill give you the shortened version in the M's/O's game, Vargas era 2 runs+ higher on road starts. Tillman is a righty, the M's are dead last against righties. O's coming after winning both series against the Yankees and the Rays

I wouldn't look too much into the Reds loss yesterday. They simply ran into a very hot AJ Burnett and a desperate Pirates team that had a must win attitude. I agree that Gallardo is the better starter, but Arroyo is actually the one pitching better in there respective last 3 starts. Also the Reds have great career #s vs Gallardo, meanwhile Arroyo has great career #s vs the Brewers. I don't expect the Reds to continue a 15-2 type of pace the rest of the way, but they are clearly the better team and I expect them to bounce back with a win. Win or Lose this game it's not a bad call to take the hottest team in baseball for + money against an awful team. Gallardo warrants being favorite, but like I said the career #s show the Reds are more then capable of hitting him.

I am somewhat new to this site, but just wanted to thank you for the picks and great insight. I also had a pretty solid day yesterday and just like you I missed my 6-team parlay because of the O's beating the Rays...Anyways looking forward to hearing more of your picks-insights, and best of luck today!

I like your analysis. I compared them with other handicappers and it seems, if not way more detailed-informative than those cappers I rely on in making betting decisions. Your insights and details have convinced my intuition, and lets just say, I have already mind up my minds on the picks, but when you mentioned the teams who will come out winning, your insights have solidified and convinced me which teams may win based on factors from your research...Thks Shark!
