A slight win a win after taking the Rangers under for 1 unit. 4 quick 1 Unit plays for today
Mets - ML By Friday in Florida, my belief is the Mets will look different and begin a fade train for me, but with Reyes and Beltran in the lineup,
Twins- - ML Blackburn's career numbers vs the Tribe are very good, i.e. 7-3 and in only two of the last 10 has he allowed more than 2 earned runs
Mariners - ML Not a great team here but better than the record shows in the last 10 and the Jays are much stronger versus righties than lefties.
Rangers - "we're going streaking". It may end tonight, but lot's of streaks in play, Holland coming off two complete game shutouts, team at 12 and counting.....Haren less than special last time out and not wild about his career second half splits

Good luck on your play SJP. Any insight? Only thing I'm really noticing is Cueto pitches better than his average splits away and during the day. Hoping it works out for you!

There are a couple angles on the Reds game that I like:
Obviously, I'm sure everyone has read the splits on Karstens and Cueto lifetime VS the opposing team featured on ESPN. I'm not much of a stat junkie though. I especially don't like stats when, to me, these two teams are completely different from what they've been pitching against. How do you stack up Cueto's numbers VS Pittsburgh when Pittsburgh is obviously on a new level right now?
I line up teams by my own RPI and the Reds, although they are mired in a mini slump, are still in the same grouping as the Pirates. We're coming up on the 7th straight win for the Pirates against the Reds, and that's very difficult to do against an equal opponent. In sport, most realize it's tough to beat the same team 3 times in a row, let alone 7.
The Reds bats have been cool as of late, but if you've followed my threads, I believe in the law of averages. These guys CAN hit. They are capable of being a run producing machine as much as they've been anemic lately.
I'm banking on a solid performance from Cueto (very nice day/night, home/away splits) along with the Reds attacking their familiarity with Karstens.
That's my reasoning in a nutshell: Statistics backing Cueto, relative law of averages on the Cincinnati bats, and a belief that two evenly matched teams can not conclude with the same result 7 times in a row.
Best of luck to everyone today.

I just want to remind everyone that this is not an endorsement for anyone to blind tail. If you like Pittsburgh, then play Pittsburgh. If you like Cincinnati, then play Cincinnati.
Don't get tied up with the dollar value on the play. If you wager $50 on standard plays, then this is the equivalent of a $100 bet. If you wager $3000 on standard plays, then this is the equivalent of a $6000 bet. Use your own value system. If I win, I'll chalk it up and move on. If I lose, I'll chalk it up and move on. That's how it should be for everyone.
Lets keep this thread positive today if at all possible. I appreciate it.
I'm going back to sleep now.

I like the Cubs/Phillies OVER 11
today. That number jumped out and me, and I saw Worley/Dempster as the
pitching match-up. "WTF?" thoughts ensued. Screams Under when Dempster
has been lights out at home and Worley has been lights out everywhere.
Worley was drilled in a day start earlier this year, and Dempster has mediocre numbers VS the Phillies.
Just an angle to consider.
Okay, night.

Look, I really don't want to bash, but seriously.
You rarely, if ever, post the amount of your plays. But today for some reason, you chose to post the dollar amount but with it post a disclaimer that the dollar amount isn't important and not to get caught up in it?
It just really makes no sense. If you don't want people to get caught up in the dollar amount, then don't post it. Letting everyone know this is your first "two unit" play bigger that normal would have had the same effect, no?
A cynical person would say that you ARE trying to draw attention to your threads by posting the dollar amount, and your warning to not get caught up in the amount is __________. You fill it in.
