OAK/NYY total is a push at worst in the bottom of the 5th

I've got to Disagree about the Phills. Looper has been the much better pticher this year, and that's all that really matters as far as I'm concerned. Blanton may be lucky to get past 3 or 4 innings. He will have at least given up 6 or 7 hits and probably 4 or 5 runs by then. I have this play listed as my LOCK PICK OF THE DAY. MIL +122

But who knows. You appear to be much better at this than me so we'll just have to see. BOL

Game 2: Minnesota Twins ML (+124) for 1 unit
Brad Penny starting for Boston.  He's pitched off the mound at Fenway twice in his career.  Through eight innings, he's given up seventeen runs, all earned, on fifteen hits, eight walks including five home runs compared to just three strike outs.  That's a 19.13 ERA, 2.88 WHIP & .385 Opposing Average.  Against the Twins, who he's only seen once, he's given up five runs on nine hits in six innings.  That's a 7.50 ERA, 1.50 WHIP & .333 Opposing Average.  Francisco Liriano has never faced the Red Sox (at least in the regular season) but he's been getting better and should easily rack up win #1 on the year today.

Doesn't look too bad.  Two of my picks are in there.  I'm not a parlay person though so I can never really see it as a good bet but if I had to pick three tonight for a parlay....those would look good together

but.....

Phillies better be most of those runs

Yeah man.  Love to see a Phils win tonight!  I wish I had more trust in the fat guy.  He's been shelled often this year, thus my call for the over play.  I'm trusting you on Cinnci--would have never picked that one on my own.  Let's get em!!
 
BTW, the parlay pays $7.25 to $1.

Lilly is just awful against Cincy - I'll be honest tho, I like Minny Game 2 more

He went 0-4 with an 8.15 ERA in four starts versus Cincinnati, getting pulled before the end of the third inning twice.Most of the damage against Lilly last season was done by Reds first baseman Joey Votto, who was 5-for-9 with two homers and eight RBIs against him. Edwin Encarnacion went 4-for-8 with two doubles.

And his counterpart:
Cincinnati starter Johnny Cueto (0-1, 4.22) has dropped three straight against the Cubs with a 4.74 ERA in that span. Cueto actually pitched well in his two losses at Wrigley Field, posting a 3.29 ERA.

Could be a wild one in Wrigley

Just to show you how I like Minny more - every game, I give a grade to each side, under & over.  I grade the plays from F all the way up to A+.  I play everything from a B up.
 
Cincy is a B+, Minny Game 2 is an A-

Too late on the Minny.  Already locked the parlay for half a bill.  Hoping for a $300 plus night to help pay for those $7 beers at the park tonight.
