Thanks guys for all of the opinions, even the rudely stated ones.  I am no expert in statistics, and no expert at roulette. I didn't know about colors other than red and black.  I will indeed steer clear of this tactic and table games all together.  Thanks for the info!

 Sometimes one needs to be rude and blunt to get the point across.  Obviously, you were not paying attention earlier when people were giving you wise advice. It is not my problem if I come across as an asshole for giving you truthful, solid advice that will save you lots of future financial heartache.

Sometimes, however, you just have to pay the "stupid tax" and ignore the advice.  That way, when you get burned badly, you will hesitate to do the same dumb act again.

It wasn't until the flaws in my math were pointed out that it really started to become clear that it was NOT a good idea.  My math was flawed due to my incomplete understanding of the game.  At least I was smart enough to come in here and ask my fellow Covers people before I blew a load. Anyway, thanks again.
