I really expect Manuel to bench Ibanez today in favor of Francisco.  This could potentially spark the Phillies offense.  That being said Manuel is often stubborn and may not fail to realize this, not to mention you're adding a right handed bat against a left handed pitcher and a more athletic/ better defensive player by making this move.

i dont follow the phillies a lot, except for the big names. 
but who is this ben francisco guy? 
anything is better than ibanez right now, but.... theres gotta be a reason that ibanez is your starter right?
is ben francisco decent?

i can look up the numbers, but as a philly fan, what do you think about this guy?

He's a valuable bench player.  Hard to judge if he could be an everyday player.  All I know is he plays a decent outfield, has fairly good speed, and homerun power.  Ibanez seems to lack all of these right now.
