There are no locks or sure bets, especially in baseball. I'm trying to create bets to my advantage. Here is the parlay I'm playing today.
1. I'm taking the Cardinals at plus 5 1/2 at home. Mets are coming from California and Mikolas called out his team last night. Can't see the Mets winning by 6 on the road.
2. I'm taking the A's to score more than 1 and 1/2 total team runs for game at home. They are facing a rookie pitcher (White Sox) and have the best scoring offense since the break.
3. I'm taking the Royals plus 4 and 1/2 runs at home, one of the best records in baseball at home, and to score over 1 and 1/2 runs for game.
4. I'm taking Munoz (Marlins) for one walk or more. He has done this 10 straight games.
5. Dbacks 1 and 1/2 team runs for game. Dbacks have the best offense in baseball and Allen has been terrible.
This parlay at $100 pays $164.30
Can the Royals win straight up? Yes? Can the A's win straight up? Yes. I'm just tired of losing when teams should not be losing. I'm trying to increase my odds. I did substitute the A's to win straight up with the same parlay above and the odds are plus 140!
