POD - REDSOXS UNDER 4.5 1ST 5 -125 - 12.5 UNITS
Messick has been phenomenal since getting called up throwing
13.2 innings allowing 1 run and 11 hits with 12 strikeouts and
1 walk against 2 decent offenses in tbay and arz. Going to fenway
will be a tough test but the fact redsoxs have no experience with
him and they have not been tearing the cover off the ball i believe
he will do well here. Bello has just added a cutter to his sinker and
4 seam fastball and it has done wonders to help his overall
consistency. Last 3 starts he has allowed 4 runs 12 hits in 20 innings
with 2 walks and 13 strikeouts. Both starters are a combined 4-0
in last 2 starts under 1st 5 innings. I am going that way here.
POD- cardinals under 7.5 -115 - 12.5 units
Morales is 2-0 with a 1.19 era and has allowed 2 runs in his last 18 innings over 3 starts and the wind blowing in should in should aid him today. See sonny gray shutting down his former team today at home. I see this as a 4-2 gameand under 7.5
