All you can do is laugh bc it happens a lot in MLB. Years ago I had a bet on a late game and it was 10-1 with 2 outs in the 9th and I shut the TV off and fell asleep. I immediately checked my account in the morning and it was low so I thought my account wasn't credited. The Giants (I think) scored 10 runs with 2 outs in the 9th to win 11-10 and I lost haha.
