Zimmerman has been great this year and is looking for his 20th win. But historically he doesn't do so well against CARDS. And with the NATS being eliminated from the postseason a few days ago he may not be getting the strongest effort from his mates. And the CARDS rook ain't no joke either.....he's 2-0 with a 3.09 ERA in his L4 starts. And lights out at home with a 0.96 era L3.
Not over thinking this one too much. At only -115 give me the better team,at home with far more to play for....like a division title to avoid a one game play-in where a wicked season could be washed away after 27 outs.
MLB:
(1)STL ML -115 to win a half unit
(2)STL -1.5 +17 risking 0.25 units
(3)STL +1.5 -230 to OAK +1.5 -210 = +110 risking a half unit
Still looking into the A's/ANGELS game a lil more but leaning towards mixing in the under............and maybe a lil more on the A's

Hells yeah...MLB where have ya been lolol. I didn't get the sweep but pretty close with a 6-1 night for +2.45 units. Considering the bet size I'm quite happy with that.

I hit my main play on Monday with TB coming back to win the first half of a nice parlay that was polished off by the BRONCOS on MNF.
Then after a day off I hammered the CARDS pretty good during the day and then TB and BALTY at night for a 6-1 +2.45 unit day....(small wagers 0.25 and 0.5 units)

For today barring a pathetic lineup I'm going to play a lil on the BRAVOS. They are beasts at home sitting an impressive 30 games above 500 at Turner Field.
And ATL hosts a pretty bad PHILLY team that is exactly 20 games below 500 on the road. Yes the PHILS will send Cliff Lee to the bump. One of their few bright spots this season. But the much better overall BRAVES team send Medlen to the bump and the kid hasn't been a whole lot worse than Mr.Lee,especially over the last few starts.
Give me the much better, hotter and more motivated team in this one at just -120 on their home field.

The CARDS were good to me the other day and I'm going back to them tonight. This game is very similar to the ATL game in that we have a great home team battling for the potential top spot with the best record in all of baseball. And doing so while hosting a team that never even had a whiff of the post season all year long and after looking at their current form lately, likely just playing out the season and waiting to get the fuckoutta Dodge.

Next I'm playing the person. Not rocket "surgery" here either. We have a scalding hot CLE team playing for their playoff lives winning 7 in a row. In MINNY to face a TWINKIES squad that just shut their best player down, have a bum on the hill tonight. And have lost 3 in a row,7 of 8,17 of 22....I could keep going on like this, they blow.
STL is probably too expensive for me to play S.U at -165 but CLE is definitely outta my range at -200 so I'll likely be on the -1.5 or using them on the ML in a parlay.

Another team I like thats not swimming in juice is the TEX-RAGS at home to the ANGELS. I like Ogando's current for and even picked him up for a spot start in my fantasy league. And he'll be facing Clown.Jerker Wilson who I'm not a big fan of,especially on the road where his era bloats from a solid 2.55 to 4.11 and his opp/b.a goes from .220 to .271. and he's not been sharp against TEX either sporting an 8.44 era and .375 opp/b.a in 2 starts vs the RANGERS this season.
I like the hotter RAGS at home here in a battle for the playoffs with a red hot start on the bump at a reasonable price of -135

The ML is insane at -280 but getting the -1.5 at -120 is worth a half unit to me. Thats a 160 cent swing and with Kershaw on the bump vs a complete plug. I can't pass on this for a lil something.
