Laying a dime on a team that has lost 6 in a row by 5,6,3,2,3 and 5 runs and continues   on the road seems kind of crazy.

Zimmerman just faced those Rockies too about a week ago, although he did well, they will get their 4,5, and 6 looks at him in a two week span.........

And you want to lay 150?

That def would have been nice. I tacked on a small live bet on royals so came out pretty nicely. Washington looking in good shape (or am I just nuts and seeing things? ) Hope cubs can pull through!

I never said you were dumb. I just questioned the pick. You actually seem kind of intelligent, in that your grammar and punctuation are fat better than 99% of the people on Cover, I would think you are actually quite intelligent.


I still don't like the pick. Maybe you are so short sighted that the outcome determines the quality of the pick for you.   Maybe you see deeper that the Nationals have quit and have no heart.  I would tread very carefully with them.

Interesting reply, and I am not sure whether to thank you, or tell you to (&*^ off, lol j/k.  No, quite often I see some pleople hit thier plays, and still see their play as a bad play that paid off.  There absolutely are good plays that do not come through, and visa-versa.  This play, however, was not one of those plays, though to prove that to you in any way would show more of my hand than what I am willing to show, so we will just have to disagree in the friendliest possible way.  

In addition, I would strongly urge you to reconsider your opinion of a group of absolute world class athletes that "gave up", as that almost never happens if at all.  You will see teams that just can't 'gel', don't get along, get overwhelmed by media/fan expectations, and get overwhelmed by just plain bad luck and react poorly to it, but 'give up' when each team member is a gifted athlete that has been accustomed to winning their whole lives, dreamed of playing on the world stage their whole lives, fear the next guy that is gunning for his (each of them) job, knowing that their shelf life has a clear expiration date that they are willing to do anything to prolong, and then just stops playing because the team is not performing?  Not going to happen, though many non-pro athletes/fans  assume that these players will react/respond just as they themselves would, not the case.  Anyway, BOL to you Crash
