This matchup sets up well for Philadelphia. Wheeler has the clear edge on the mound against an A's lineup that struggles with high-end right-handed pitching, while Springs has been giving up too much hard contact lately. Add in the park factor and favorable hitting conditions, and the Phillies' lineup has a strong chance to create separation early. Weather is the only thing worth monitoring, but if Wheeler gets a clean outing, this number feels cheap for the better team with the ace advantage.
