I never hate in anyone's thread and I rarely take the time to stick up for someone because they can do it on their own, but I don't agree with all the hate here. Even if you don't agree with the plays and want to dis the recent record, which it is way too early in the year to do, you can at least respect the insight in the posts. Baseball is a long season, and is not a sprint like NFL and CFB, so there are going to be ups and downs and if I read the record correctly, Key is still up for the year.

I don't always look for comedy on an internet forum, but when I do I stop by Key's thread and read some of the nonsense that gets posted.
Newsflash degenerates: there are probably a handful to 10 guys - with legitimate capping skills - sharing their MLB plays on a regular basis here on Covers.... for FREE! You would probably do no better paying for picks than following - with appropriate scaling of bets - one of these guys for free.
Also - if a few bad days or even a bad week get you bent out of shape, then you either (i) bet more than you can afford to bet, (ii) have poor money management skills (i.e., bet too large % of your bankroll), or (iii) incapable of keeping your emotions under control. I had a stretch last year where I hit ~30% of my bets over about 60 picks (~3 weeks) and still ended up over 6% RoR when all was said and done.
Lastly, let this example sink in... if you bet 3 games that you capped to have a 55% chance of winning, there is still ~10% chance you lose all three of them (i.e., you would go 0-3 every 10 days over the long-run). We are seeking out games that offer a higher win probability than that implied by the actual line (i.e., mispriced line). The goal isn't to arbitrarily pick teams that "will definitely win today".

Need a laugh? OK, how bad is Wily Peralta? He starts at home tonight against a rookie with a 9.88 era and no major league starts and backed by a terrible offense, and the line goes DOWN. No kidding, more money has been played on the Padres than the Brewers. I'm not playing but the first thing that comes to mind when I see Wily Peralta on the schedule is "unplayable".

Don't listen to the haters Key. I don't chime in very often, but I've been following your thread for a year and a half and your analysis and contribution is much appreciated. Keep it up, we've got a lot of baseball season left to crush it.
To the haters - Yeah its been a rough week or so, but no gambler doesn't have rough patches. Let's see you guys continuously post your plays with write ups of legit reason behind your plays, or GTFO.
