This total is inflated for the pitching profile. Tolle and Yesavage both generate high whiff rates, and when strikeouts lead, run production lags. Yesavage's unfamiliar release and elite swing-and-miss stuff put Boston in a reactionary spot, and we just saw this lineup struggle to create clean offense in a 5-0 game yesterday-nine hits, but mostly soft contact and seeing-eye singles. That's not sustainable run production. With both arms limiting barrels and forcing weak contact, this sets up as a low-efficiency scoring environment that doesn't justify this number.
