I noticed that the line on the Boston/Minnesota game is closed.  It says something about "Write-In game".  What does that mean?

Due to the rainout yesterday, they are playing a doubleheader today and the lines aren't up until they confirm the pitching matchups.

  It says something about "Write-In game".  What does that mean?
 
means that game wasn't supposed to be played today, but it was written in for today because of the rain-out the first game of the series, hence a doubleheader

yesterday when i asked you where you got that florida line, in no way was i trying to question your lines. i wanted to play florida but not at the line i was getting. sorry for sounding like a dick and asking. but thanks for the clarification.

Hello to all.
 
Sometimes managers decide to switch pitchers after knowing who is starting for the rival. That happened a couple of times last season.
 
That sure explains the lack of line in twins game.

BTW current line in my book is Twins +155 Boston -175 Over 9.5 pk under 9.5 -120
But the game is closed and will be opened at 11:00 Central time

Game, having followed the site and yourself for 3 years now I have to say this is absolutly as hot as you have been over any 3 week period in the last 3 years. What many "newcomers" may not realize is that you have typically been a slow starter in bases the past couple years....NOT SO this year.....it is scary to see what you may be able to turn this year into with this kind of a start.....keep up the great work.....in the famous words of REO Speedwagon....KEEP ON ROLLIN !!!!!!

Huge supporter here, stated this before in your threads, so please don't take this the wrong way.  I know you are a busy working man and don't have time to be around the computer all day.  However, when you have time like yesterday, just wanted to say how much I appreciate your write-ups.  I know you are under no obligation to do them or even post any of your picks for that matter.  In learning how to cap baseball by analyzing your picks, those write-ups really help to get your thought process across as to why you like the value thus giving novice baseball cappers like me invaluable information that I just don't know about or don't know what to look for.  In addition, I believe the write-ups clear a bit of the clutter on this thread by not having people constantly question why you like your picks.  Again, please do not take this as me questioning your picks or bashing you for not doing write-ups.  I clearly understand you have no obligation to do any of this and you are busy man so they are not always feasible to do.  I guess i'm just trying to say they really help and our really informative so when you have the time to do them, i gladly appreciate you doing them.  GL GH and much thanks for all these picks you post daily for us.

Nice run lately, hopefully it continues.  I took the Twins for Game 1 & 2, I just don't see the Sox sweeping with Penny and Wake pitching.  Good luck!!!
