1. Open your mouth and say something stupid without researching the point to determine if you are right or wrong.

2. Then after opening your mouth and looking like a moron, explain how you will then research it after the fact.

3. After researching the point, find out how stupid and ignorant you are.

Ironically, you can further see how stupid he is in his original quote. I stated it's uncanny how good my "record" is on games of 2 or more units. He answers, it's not uncanny since I get fictitious lines. What do the lines have to do with my won-loss record?

After spending 30 seconds on Matchbook.com, I think I've found all I need to know:

"Matchbook isn't a sportsbook, which means our lines don't come from a standard source, but from other people just like you. Pricing is determined solely by market demand, not by an oddsmaker or bookmaker."

Looks like a completely different game... I was under the impression you were saying you were up all these units from playing against oddsmakers.  Covers should have a separate forum for "betting exchanges."

Maybe some newcomers to this site are reading this and finding out, as I am, that you aren't winning these units through regular sports betting.  An important clarification, if you ask me.

why do you feel the need to post the exact same thing you posted today in yesterdays thread.  Nobody cares that you think lines from matchbook are fictious because the come from a betting exchange and not a book.

Anyone follwing sports betting knows that Vegas has become irrelevant to the sports betting community.

Let me explain why you are a moron. First off, you opened your mouth and spewed stupidity before doing any research. Secondly, let's look at your stupidity. I will use an analogy. Say grocery stores all over America start charging $6.00 for a half gallon of milk. I come and show you, that instead of buying milk at grocery store, K-Mart now sells milk for $4.00 per half gallon and I buy there. So you answer is, milk still costs $6.00 per gallon because you are too dumb to shop at K-Mart.

Maybe you are an ok guy, but I'm tired of idiots like you chiming in with nonsense. You are new here. I have been here now for almost 3 years. I am no more important than you but I have credibility that has built up. I won +140 units here in baseball in 2007 using a dime line. Last year I won +70 units and this year using Matchbook, I am up +70 units. I wrote a 10,000 word essay posted here at Covers at the beginning of the season which explained how to maximize profits in baseball betting and I gave a whole expose on using reduced juice shops such as Pinnacle and Matchbook and gave examples. Almost every wise guy and major baseball bettor now uses matchbook and/or Pinnacle (if they have access) so you are the one behind the times. By using Matchbook if you are shrewd, you can save about 4 cents on many losing favorites and gain about 4 cents on many winning dogs, although sometimes the line can move against you. In essence, I've probably picked up 15-20 units this season by using Matchbook (yes, sometimes I take a bad number at Matchbook).

I post on the internet for free. I do not charge people. I do not ask anyone to follow me. I post what I play at the exact prices I play and ask for nothing in return. I have explained dozens of times at Covers the value of playing at Matchbook. If you are not educated enough and prefer to spend $6.00 on a half gallon of milk when it is offered for $4.00 elsehwere or to spend $3.50 on a gallon of gas when most other smart consumers know where to get it for $2.75 per gallon, then you sir are the moron!

The real lines are not in Vegas anymore my friend. Vegas uses mostly 1`5 cent and 20 cent lines for baseball, which most in the business refer to as sucker lines. The syndicates no longer bet in Vegas and use offshore reduced juice shops.

Glad I could help educate you before basketball season starts there hot shot. If you try to learn from this and stop acting like a jerkoff, you may have just made yourself thousands of dollars from the advice you leanred here.

One final point since you are relatively new to Covers. Most of us are here to help one another. We are on the same side of trying to beat the books. Instead of attacking people, maybe you can help some people here with advice, like I just helped you.

Thank goodness for Gus and other sharp guys that know what's going on. Sometimes I begin to lose faith around here.

Game you have any thoughts on the Red Sox, I dont like anything tonight but with this line going over +200 it caught my eye, all things point towards a Yanks W, but the Red Sox at +200 or more? Any interest?

the Red Sox are the only way to play it...but I'm sitting it out.....I am sticking with my Padre bet as my one remaining play. The "Mrs." will get more attention from me tonight.

This just in Woall. The opening line is set by an oddsmaker or bookmaker. After that, it's no different than Matchbook as pricing throughout Vegas and offshore at every sportsbook around the world is thereafter determined solely by market supply and demand.

Game, I am a moron for saying what I said and I am being serious.  I don't know a damn thing about baseball and I have just been trying to make money by tailing people, I admit it.  And since I have been paying the high juice on sites like Bodog of course I have failed.  I was frustrated about many things when I made that comment and was even planning on making a new alias.  But I think I am going to stick with this one and just try to repare the damage to my reputation around here.

First betting at Bodog is a CLEAR mistake, hell take MB out of the discussion and still betting Bodog is ridiculous, they are clear better alternatives out there like Greek or 5Dimes....Second, planning on making a new alias
