Nope.....I think it's a mismatch and think Marcum is far from ready...especially judging his last spring start after missing all of last season.

Johnson dominated the Mets last year especially 2 starts in the first month.  Im big on the Fish tomorrow as well and I have a Mets tattoo.  Also like Col Sea SF and Minn.  Would love to hear your thoughts on the Minn LAA game BOL this year Game.

Hey GH, just curious as I know you are a very good handicapper but apparently had a rough 2H last year... how many units did you end the year up/down? Not judging just curious seeing as all the old threads are gone. Thanks again!

I followed you a lot last year, but never posted.  You seem like a genuine person.. good call on the charity donation.  I'll be following you a lot this year. Can't believe it's baseball season again. May this season go nice and smooth for ya.

He has completely owned the mets.  I remember the last game when santana and jj pitched and Murphy dropped a fly ball late in the game, and that decided the game.

GH,

is your wager based on the listed starting pitchers or do you get action regardless if there are changes?  i know MB has the starting pitchers listed, so i'm assuming you only get action if they actually start.

I say this with all sincerity. Anytime you go opposite my pick, don't change it because of me. I will lose between 350-475 games this season and I will be wrong a lot. I see no real advantage for Lowe vs. Zambrano tomorrow. Both pitchers have pitched well to start the season the past two seasons and as you will notice earlier in this thread, I like both teams over this season. I think Marlon Byrd is a big plus for the Cubs and I expect Soriano to bounce back strongly. I think the Cubs may have the slightly stronger lineup and both bullpens have big ?'s. I made this game close to pick and at +125, I just don't think the Cubs would lose this game 56 out of 100 times (that's about the breakeven point).

I was up over 80 units at the all-star break and ended up only between 20-30 for the season. Bad 2nd half.

IMO, you should list your actual line.  Screw the haters and anyone who would have a problem with that.  Alot of people here use matchbook and could vouch for your lines, I'm sure.  As a  (somewhat) tailer I would prefer to see what actual line you get.  Just my opinion.  I definitely understand where you're coming from.  Best of luck.

Was about to hit the pillow but always have time for my man Kine!

I just don't understand why the DBacks are such heavy favorites. They would need to win this game 65 out of 100 tiems to show a profit and I think that is steep. They have a lot of question marks on this team and I don't feel the Padres are that anemic. Garland is capable and has shown he can come right out at the start of the season and put in solid efforts. I don't put a ton of stock in spring ball, but Haren was struggling in his L3 starts throwing 15 1/3 innings and allowing 22 hits and 13 runs. The Padres hitters have a .294 average against Haren so they are no overmatched. I don't see a pen advantage at all for the Dbacks. I just think the price is exorbitant and thought it would be -150.
