Mike Trout is a combination of Willie Mays, Hank Aaron, Griffey Jr, bonds, the big hurt, Mickey Mantle, Tom Brady, Marino, Montana, Pele, tyson, Ali, Barry Sanders, deion Sanders, the guy who invented breast implants, a professor at Harvard who teaches organic chemistry, MJ, LeBron, olajuwon, Shaq, Brad Pitt, Serena Williams, Denzel Washington, the dude who invented the wheel, one of those Latinas who does the weather for Univision, my mailman, and the mailman Karl Malone, Gretzky, Lemieux, Sofia Vergara, the 2026 Ms America pageant winner, and the guy who invented the brick. Trout doesn't have a championship, division title, playoff wins, batting title, home run title, a gold glove, a 200 hit season. YET HIS FANS LOVE HIM. I have no idea why the fascination about this dude. He has sucked for almost a decade. Anyways, take "over" 1k every game like I've been doing for the last 3 seasons. GL

They think he would be as good as Greg Maddux, the big unit, Pedro, Koufax, Bob Gibson. Or he could be a reliever as good as Rivera, gossage, Hoffman. They do! They actually believe this. And according to some of his fans. Trout just returned home from Artemis 2. That's why they played a day game last Wednesday so he could join the shuttle on Thursday morning to jet with the crew. But he's back home now. And they say that's the reason why he's striking out so much. He's tired from the trip the Moon. You see, they give excuses for his production at the plate.

 Do you see the dates? He hasn't done anything in almost a decade. All Star doesn't mean anything. That's a popularity vote. All -MLB team, is also 50% voting by fans. If he's so great? Where are his championships, division titles, playoff wins, 200 hit seasons, gold gloves, batting titles, home run titles. And if he played in the 90s, he would have O MVPs and silver slug awards. But I'm curious. How come he has sucked for the past 8 years? And don't say he's been hurt. If he's hurt? Then why is he playing? Why did he start opening day if he's hurt? Why has he started every opening day, if he's so- called hurt?

 I appreciate you liking my thread, thank you for keeping it on a mature level. But Mike Trout sucks. He hasn't done anything in almost a decade. AND HE'S NOT GOING TO DO ANYTHING! If someone is 27 years old, and they started following baseball when they were 19. They have no idea who Mike Trout is? That's how irrelevant he is. This year, will be just like last year. He'll hit about .225 he will have more strikeouts than hits for the 8th season in a row. Something that Manny Machado has never done in his career. He will have about 190 strikeouts, 110 hits. But his fans will still love him and say he's great. Which is axiomatically delusional. His hometown Phillies didn't even want him last year. They wanted Harrison Bader instead of him which was hilarious.

yes he got hit on the wrist. But he was batting 215 before he got hit on the wrist. Just like a few years ago when he was batting 160, and got injured. His fans will tell you he was hitting 600 before he got hit on the wrist last week. Because they are a bunch of idiots.

 I don't have to worry about that. And no other team has to worry about Mike Trout being on their team. BECAUSE NOBODY WANTS HIM! Not even his hometown Phillies wants him. They wanted Harrison Bader last year instead of him. He sucks, he's going to continue to suck, every general manager knows he sucks. The Angels are stuck with this dude the rest of his career. Just watch. He's not going anywhere, because he can't go anywhere. NO TEAM WANTS HIM. THE ANGELS DON'T EVEN WANT HIM. BUT THEY ARE STUCK WITH HIM

 I have said this numerous times. I DO NOT HAVE A PROBLEM WITH MIKE TROUT. He's a good dude. He's a Christian, he's good to the fans and the media. BUT HE'S A LOUSY BASEBALL PLAYER. I have a problem with his fans and to the media. Just look. After opening weekend his fans and the media were saying. HE'S BACK, MVP, ANGELS ARE GOING TO THE PLAYOFFS. THE GOAT IS BACK. WHERE ARE THOSE PEOPLE NOW???? He's hitting $1 and 90 cents. Where are those people now??? But yet, they still think he's great. They act like he was hitting 645 when he got hit on the wrist a few days ago. He was hitting 215 before he got hit on the wrist. And if he's hurt, in which he's not. Why was he playing opening day? He's not hurt at all. He just sucks as a baseball player. His career was over 8 years ago. Just because someone is good to the fans doesn't mean they are a good baseball player. And for the past 8 years, Mike Trout hasn't been a good baseball player yet the fans love him and say he's great.

 All he does is either strike out, walk, or hit a meaningless home run against Oakland in the middle of July. His first 14 years, this year will be 8 years in a row he will have more strikeouts than hits. Reggie Jackson first 14 years, he only did this 3 times. This will be Trout's 8th year in a row, and next year will be 9, next year will be 10 if he keeps playing. And all his fans will give excuses why he strikes out. HE'S HURT, THE LEAGUE STRIKES OUT MORE NOW, HE DOESN'T HAVE PROTECTION. Even though he played with Josh hamilton, Pujols and Ohtani. So I asked his fans. How come Manny Machado doesn't strike out NEARLY AS OFTEN AS TROUT DOES? Machado played 30 more games last year, and struck out 47 times less. And of course, I never hear anything back from the trout fans when I ask this.

 Omg a thread with someone who feels the way I do. Right now, if on a vote, he should not make the hall of fame. His one mvp was a total fluke. He only has 1700 hits, not even close to 3k! He only has 1000 rbi and since 2016 he can't even get 150 hits in a season. He was humbled when ohtani showed up to what a true legend, Supreme player is and now all his touts have stfu. Even those who said he is the best for 5 years etc only base it on War when it was looked at way too much. Now you don't even hear WAR mentioned bc of the reality of slugging, obp etc. 

Trout over rated just like Derek Jeter gold gloves total and Brian Urlacher being a great football player when he was trash in almost every area. 

Haven't read this whole thing yet but would love to see trout fans argue this guy who simply fell off a cliff and is never going to be a top ten player again

 Exactly dude, you're exactly right. And quite frankly. Trout is the most overrated athlete to put on a uniform in any sport at any level. When his career ends he will come closer to 3K strikeouts than hits. He has been a worthless baseball player for almost a decade yet his fans thinks he's a combination of Willie mays, Hank Aaron and Greg Maddux. And p u s y boy Trout took himself out of the game in the ninth inning, again. This guy is the worst player in baseball. He lacks effort, leadership and value to a team.
