Exactly. Mike Trout sucks, he's been terrible for almost a decade. But people still love him. And I have no idea why??? After the Yankees series where the ball was obviously flying out of the ballpark with 22 home runs. His fans and the media were saying. He's back, the MVP is back, Angels playoffs, he's back. He sucked before the Yankees series, he has sucked after the Yankees series. He has sucked for the last 7 years. After the Yankees series 4-19, 5k's, 1HR, 1rbi. But people thinks he's the goat. He is a horrible baseball player and it's pure laughable. The league knows it, the Hall of Fame voters know it.

And it's funny how the media wrote a moronic column after the Yankee series. " Mike Trout is "BACK" to MVP form". Analyze that title! That means that he has SUCKED the last few seasons, so he is BACK. Well, what is he BACK from?? FROM HAVING TERRIBLE SEASONS FOR THE LAST 7 YEARS. Jim Thome & Reggie Jackson are the only 2 players to have more SOs than hits, and in the HOF. But one is known as Mr. October ; his contributions in the post season are self-evident. Thome had 17 postseason HRs, and helped the Indians get to 2 world series..
I remember Trout being compared to Mickey Mantle through the first 500 games of his career. It was truly incredible, and the stats backed it up.. . But Trout has become a player who has failed to adapt to the modern day pitcher , who seemingly all throw close to 100mph, and have a multitude of pitches.
Trout was recently on the Pat McAffee show after his road trip to the NYY. I was surprised at how candid he was in reference to the pitching getting so much better over the years...

Why won't Pat McAfee have him on his show now, or before the Yankees series? Because he sucks. 100% he will have more strikeouts than hits... It's not even debatable at this point. His skill deterioration makes it evident it will happen because he has failed to adapt over time.. I can only wish he gets a fair number of 'snubs in HOF voting when his time is due. The Angels have made some of the worst big-ticket signings/extensions in MLB over the last 20 years.. CJ Wilson, Albert Pujols, Mike Trout, Josh Hamilton, Anthony Rendon, ... who am I missing ? These were all supposed to be centerpieces to a franchise to take them to the next level. All of them UNDERPERFOMED... Busts... when it comes to producing wins to make it to the playoffs.
And Angel Fans are some of the softest creatures known to man.. They will never boo Mike Trout. His Ass would be handed to him if he ever played in BOS or NY by those home fans.

And this is what made his interview on the McAfee show so interesting, but not surprising. it was all because of his performance in the NYY series.... I heard more from Trout in 40 minutes than I've heard in 15 years.. The guy just doesn't do any interviews, even here locally. The only time you here from him are post game comments, and those are just predictable soundbites...
At of today's present LIFE time batting average of 293 for Trout (this includes your self proclaimed last 10 horrid years)... With over 22,O00 players having played this great game a LIFE time avg of 293 would be better then 98.5% of all qualify players who ever played in the majors as a life time avg...hmm...HOF a lock....
How come his fans and the media won't mention his production before the Yankees series or after the Yankees series. There were 22 home runs hit in that series, the ball was obviously flying out of the park. BUT, trout BEFORE the Yankees series, 53 at bats, 2 home runs, 6: RBI's, AFTER the Yankee series, 36 at bats, 2 home runs, 4 RBI. WOW. Those are goat numbers!?? LOL. NOW I'M DONE! LOL
