I agree. Yesterday I went against the Tigers with the intention of backing them today to tie the series, but I've changed my mind after watching their utterly non-competitive effort in Game 3. Eight straight losses at home down the stretch when they very much needed to win any of them. I'm not waiting around for #9. I'd rather bet on it happening.

I basically offset my Tigers series bet by betting on the Mariners -104 and -1.5 +160 to wrap this up today. The Tigers did well to steal Game 1 when few believed they would, but failing to take advantage of the Tarik Skubal start in Game 2 negated the Game 1 triumph. Then I watched that beating yesterday and decided to distance myself from them today.

I listened to some of the quotes from the Mariners after last night's game and they sounded like a group that is ready to hammer home the final nail and move on to the next challenge.

There’s another important reason to back the Mariners today. If they allow the Tigers to snap this disgraceful 8-game home losing streak and tie the series, the consequence of that will be flying home where they’ll have to try and beat the great Tarik Skubal for a FOURTH time this season. Believe me when I say that the Mariners have this daunting possibility at the forefront of their minds today.

In the baseball, basketball, or hockey playoffs, when the road team has a chance to clinch and AVOID a winner-take-all game at home, they usually get it done because they do NOT wanna mess with a Game 7!

I rode Seattle yesterday, yes most were on Detroit , very good call. Today most are on Detroit but gut says Detroit the play. I hate betting against losing streaks at home (or period for that matter) normally doesn’t turn out good,I just think Detroit has some fight left in them. Good luck with your play.
