Are you (or the Blue Jays) aware it has been 7 years since Patrick Corbin had a decent year in MLB? Yes, in ’18 and ’19 with the D-bax and Nationals he had the best years of his career. Now, he is an old man that had to impress with a very good start at the level. Since 18/19, his last 2 decent years in MLB, his average era is 5.34 and his average whip is 1.51. Do the Jays really think they are going to catch lightning in a bottle with this guy? If you haven’t noticed Richardson is off to a nice start and the Twins are hitting lefties. I think we have another false favorite here, and that is not uncommon with an AL Central matchup vs AL East. Regardless of standings at the end of the season, every individual game is its own beast, and divisions do not beat divisions, teams beat teams.

I suppose it is possible; after all we had a Polish Pope when the world least expected it.
On another topic. Did you notice only two teams on a full card opened as road favorites? BOTH AL East. There are either way too many gamblers in the Northeast, or that division is more over-rated than ever. Good fade material. Sure, they will win a lot of games, but they won't make bettors any money, the juice will eat the W/L margin.

Been following you for 15+ years. We used to really kill it in the past on first fives. Those days are long gone. Losing like we did tonight is not acceptable in the world of sports. very tough to handicap. Thank you!
