F5 – RL – Braves +120 Holmes/Detmers

Detmers is off to a nice start amid the Angels resurgence, but certainly not superior to Holmes. The greatest difference here is that the Braves are 4-0 vs lefty and have the stats to justify it. Right now my average MLB offensive rating vs lefty stands at 34.8 and the Braves 4-0 start averages 45.3. For comparison purposes the Angels are rated at a very average 35 vs righty. False favorite, I rest my case.

Don't beat your against the wall about it. It has been a problem the whole 20 years I have been here. Nothing has ever been done, old management or new.

Fwiw, Holmes has a good history vs Angels batters, although a small sample size.

Mike Maddux has done some magic with the Angels pitching staff as a whole. They are in mid season form. Hopefully not today for your sake. 

I feel it being an under game if anything. 

McKenzie Gore spun a gem for 5 innings. 

The Rangers currently have the best win % as dogs this year. 5-2. Not considering the Tigers and Mets who are 1-0, and the Astros who are 2-0.

The Reds are the top $ making team so far, +$604

The Guardians are 2nd at +$500

The worst bet in baseball so far has been the Red Sox, -$596

although we do have the technology in getting rid of home plate umps making bad calls.

 I've had the Rangers ONCE, and they PUSHED. Nothing against them but their projected numbers before the season began were not that promising. One of the surprise teams so far, but their numbers are closer to manageable now. Every year there are good/bad surprises and the Rangers caught me off-balance this year.

BTW: If they were not a surprise to many 'cappers, they would not have been such a good dog bet. I'm not the only one surprised!
