I think he should look to be a part of the Orioles' organization. He seems to know how to contend in 2-3 years better than anyone else there.
mlbtraderumors give a heads up on who they may be looking at. They'll probably get Feliz, Looper and Rodney. Maybe Bedard too. And for the 15 games he starts, I'll certainly be impressed. I won't deny he's a great pitcher...but he's never healthy.

I do give jpero respect for his knowledge on minor league baseball. He just doesn't understand how they evaluate into big leaguers. He thinks he does...but he doesn't. Nobody does.

Or the Red Sox, Angels, Tigers, Cubs, Dodgers and Mets. And hey...if you trade your homegrown talent, you can get big name stars. And if you dish out the big bucks that 1 time and it works, the further you go, the more money you make, and the more money you have. If the owner chooses to pocket the money, that's his deal. Simply...when you win, you get more money. Just like the Rays. They NEVER went out and got a big name free agent. Burrell was pretty big when it came to bats in the offseason.

BINGO! you hit the nail on the head. And besides with that dumb shit in the dugout, our ball club is going nowhere. Even the friggn' Brewers went out and got two half-way decent pitchers today...Randy Wolf and Hawkins. The Cubs are strapped with bad contracts, and will have to eat much of Bradley's even if he's traded.
The new owner is a joke too with all of his bullshit about being a Cub fan "from the neighborhood". The jerk off is from Nebraska and rented a $1000 per month apartment across the street from Wrigley while he was a student at Univ. of Chicago, which costs about 50K per year to attend...some "neighborhood" guy.
And BTW, they raised ticket prices 19%. I got my invoices today and almost shit myself when I saw how much they jacked it up!
"See the new boss. He's the same as the old boss".
