I agree..totally! Only bet first 5 innings. Don’t bet every night! Don’t lay more than -130. Find a service that offers (-1) run.

MLB is just brutal as fuck to win in and to find solid odds unless you back dogs.

MLB will clean you out fast if you don't follow a really strict set of boundaries . The favorites shit the bed lots in MLB

I think because of the sheer volume of games you have to manage your bankroll and adjust your unit size a little compared to other sports 

I tend to do ok on totals and team total overs,   rarely play ML or RL's

 Be patient and wait until last day of each series to play home teams that lost 2 or 3 games, something with over/under. Beside that, pay attention to better teams that lost 3 4 games straight. Or weird lines. Dont play too many games.

I've been betting sports for 25 years and baseball is the sport that pro bettors lose the most $ in and have the fewest winners by end of season.

In the end, we're all action junkies/degens looking for small edges that no longer exist because computers have accounted for all the +EV angles.

Pro bettors make money in mid-conference CBB where lines can't always catch up with news in time and in the NFL, if you're able to get 5c lines.

This is just my two cents from years of experience.

April baseball is very tricky.  Wait for trends and patterns to emerge.  That's all.

ALWAYS play dogs of +125 or more
TRY to bet on teams win-less in the current series
AVOID bets against a team in the top 5 in the overall standings
AVOID bets on a team in the bottom 5 in the overall standings
AVOID bets on teams that have won less than .450
AVOID bets against teams that have won more than .550
AVOID bets against a pitcher with an ERA of less than 2.00
AVOID bets on a pitcher with an ERA of more than 4.00
AVOID bets when the difference between the starting pitchers ERAs is greater than 1 run
AVOID bets on a pitcher who has lost his last three decisions
AVOID bets on a team that has won less than 4 out of it's last 10 games
AVOID bets on a team that has lost it's last 4 or more in a row

Its ALL a Crap Shoot.....Starting pitchers let us down easrly. Live wagering can help during the course of a game! Hit two parlays yesterday on LATE Inning comebacks! Sssoooo lightning does STRIKE 

Maybe what helps is bet live on teams that have to most hits during that game after 3-4 innings. My experience is that the team with most hits almost never loses the game. Just my two cents. Baseball is tough indeed but you have to find patterns and systems.

to be honest its always a guess somewhat....we look at pitchers, we look at batters  and even after all that we are HOPING we are on the right side  its the same always.....baseball is tricky   any team and any pitcher can lose even to bad teams    i never bet fav's more than 160-170 which most are....books have changed the juice too since way back  things use to be 10 cent diff maybe 15  now its 30 and 40  -180 +140  they do that to make the risk more and the payout less  why i stayed away for years   i do well on str up bets 38-21 and thats without betting any huge favorite   but i add parlays last night was great for parlays  but some nights not  and with juice even with that record your maybe up 9 units maybe 10  ....but guessing is what it is   that are handicapping is right...lol

Just bet the Dodgers or nothing they seem to be the only team consistent every single year.  Might have something to do with their massive payroll.  Everyone else is like a coin flip

Lay a set amount for i every wager i.e $100 never bet into the line's grease like -175 -125 -145 etc  That way you can never lose more than $100 per play  Also baseball is the easiest sports to beat  I have no idea where you get the idea "pros" do not like or win at baseball

Total bases over 1.5 is my favorite to have something to follow day in and day out and throw some coffee money at and see how far I can roll it

Breaking one of my number one rules, I will parlay 2 player over 1.5 bases for nice plus odds.

I also like total bases over 1.5 bc it can win with more than a hr run like with the home run props.

Meaning 2 singles, a double or a triple will win for you in addition to a hr.
