RAYS looks like a solid selection... woulda like to see a healthy size of the forum on the Jays, though.

Ive got Max -1 for double my usual bet and in a parlay with Timmy -1. I just can't ignore the numbers some of the Tiger hitters have off Hooch.

Avila - .353, 2B, HR in 17 AB
Cabrera - .480, 2 2B, 2 HR, 8 RBI in 25 AB
Jackson - .333, 3B, HR in 15 AB
V.Martinez - .308 in 13 AB

@ PJ  -  I saw those numbers, but I did not want that to back me off of my pick.  Went with my gut, and hate doubting my gut.  We'll see if it's the right move or not... but the Royals seem to always play some good ball in August, after their season is already over.


They battled CLE long & hard this past weekend and I expect them to arrive to the ballpark tonight with the same attitude & determination to make their month of August record look, eh, semi-pretty.
