...unless you're married and over 35, in which case, it's just another Wednesday
My numbers are showing the Astros with an edge on the mound. But the WhiteSox have an even larger edge at the plate. And they are getting significant PLUS $.
I may lose this bet but it's worth the risk for the payoff...
CWS +132 @pinn
Guess what day it is!

Off to a decent start so far but Astros got one back....so it's 4 - 1
Definitely NOT a slam dunk for CWS Anything can happen in 9 innings of baseball!

And now it's 4 - 2 as the Astros will continue to chip away and probably tie the game...

@fubah2 I agree. Seems like one of those games where a big inning goes into many scoreless innings while the other team comes back little by little.
@pa2918
True.....and it sucks when the leading team (my bet). But I was fully prepared to face a loss when I made the bet, but still like the value I was getting with a fair edge getting good plus $. But we'll see.
Did you also bet the CWS?

For the 8pm ET game, my numbers show a virtual dead-even matchup on the mound.....both pens are kinda iffy these days; no significant edge. But at the plate, although the BoSox do have the potential to score, they have NOT been doing a very good job of it the past several weeks including game 1....Yankees have.
And while Yankees are roughly average facing righties, the BoSox have been struggling facing LEFTIES. Meaning, at least on paper going in, Yankees should have an overall edge here of about +1.2 runs or more .... and the price is a taker for this edge.
YANKEES -128 @pinn
Of course this hinges on FRIED NOT having a second consecutive BAD outing, which is very rare indeed for top quality starters.....likely a 90% chance he won't have a bad outing. But the bullpen might....or might not. I believe the Yankees put together at least 3 runs and likely more. Will BoSox weak bats vs lefties be able to match?
