Cabrera's numbers this season prior to hammy were very mediocre.  His St.Louis opponent, Dobbins' numbers slightly better.  But Cubs at home are the better bats and better BP.

Plus, they optioned a GOOD starter, ASSAD, to make room for Cabrera.  I don't have the inside info - only the club does - but they must be much more confident in Cabrera than I would otherwise anticipate......We shall see.
