I was looking at the pounding Chic took at the hands of Red Sox yesterday and was thinking of taking Chic today since they might ahave a chip on their shoulder getting pummelled yesterday. Looks like Bos has the better pitcher on the mount and their bats are on fire. Sooo.... am I stupid believing that the White Soxs will win as a matter of pride for yesterday? 14-2 is an embarrassment and these guys are suppose to be professionals.

My capping has REDS with an edge on the mound and a fair edge at the plate, totaling a full one run edge, ...BUT the HIGH friggin odds are outside my range for a bet (not worth the risk)

Hello! Well I'm still capping the games in order and only just finished the cinci game, so not there yet
Would be more interested in reading YOUR full take on it......
but fwiw, personally I don't put any weighting on pride/embarrasment in baseball because it is not an interactive-power-contact sport like football, hoops or hockey. It matters there but very much less so in MLB, imho.... THAT SAID, on a skill level BOTH teams are more than capable of putting up say 6 runs and pulling out a win over the other. Check for injuries/lineups near gametime. I will cap this later.......

Mets might have a thin edge with starter & BP, but without Mets slugger SOTO, while Cleveland GAINED a good bat with ADELL, I see Cleveland with an edge at the plate (they are better vs R while Mets are weaker vs R) that matches METS edge on the mound. The PLUS $$$ isn't high enough to be worthy a take on this coin-flipper so,

He’s thrown 50 pitches with 37 strikes and just 13 balls, attacking the zone with confidence and showing excellent command. He’s mixed his pitches well, stayed efficient, and so far has given Milwaukee exactly what they needed tonight

Padres (with newly acquired ELITE starter, MIZE) is another PASS due to uncertainty with how MIZE will respond to being traded. I refuse to guess so have to pass until after I see him pitch a game or two with new club....
