FRIDAYS?
Just looking over my stats and it seems that since May 01 (my usual/annual MLB start every year) there have been 13 Fridays of MLB action and I posted bets in all 13...... 9 winning days, 2 losers and 2 broke even.
I track my capping to look for patterns, either successful or failures, to see what I may be doing right or wrong...what needs improvement. IT HELPS!!!
Fridays are usually the first games of the weekend series' and I start a new RPG + BP worksheet for all the series.....9 - 2 - 2 suggests I should just continue my current methodology for the start of these series'. Mondays' aren't as successful at 7 - 5 but still profitable. No tweaks needed either Fridays' or Mondays' (1st game of series')
The last games of the weekend series' are Sundays. 8 - 4 - 1 so far.
But Saturdays are a friggin nightmare: the sandwiched games of the weekend series ...only 3 winning Saturdays' and 8 losers with 2 break-evens....This is mystifying and frustrating. I'm using the same logic as I do Fridays and Sundays [basically: Offense(detailed rpg est./prediction) Starter (WHIP/ERA/homers/STREAKS!/stats achieved at which venues vs what calibre offense, PENS! (esp. recency; not YTD!), injuries/lineups, weather conditions]....but consistent FAILURE!
Just for shyts&giggles stay tuned tomorrow for decent FADE opportunities......sigh....![]()

@Augie11
Hmmmm.....Hunter has a very small sample size of 4 games....hard to evaluate accurately.....but he throws REAL HARD! and could vary from a great game to a BAD game easily either way, imho......With very slight breeze IN - more or less negates the effect of heat carrying the ball out - I have that game estimated for 6.2 to 8.8 total runs ....suggests no significant edge either way so no play on total for me...![]()
For my capping, I want to have at least a FULL RUN estimate ABOVE the book's game total before laying any bets, and I always PREFER a single digit, even if I have to lay more juice.
BoL to you tonight!

Orioles -113 @pinn *BB ...assumes Young/Painter and PENS pitch per avgs = O's have a +0.9 run edge

St.Louis @TORO pitts two struggling offenses on the field......CARDS rpg road average has PLUNGED *HUGE* due to the current slump....this inconsistency and possibility of a "breakout" makes the play too volatile for me....PASS on side and total...
