In fact I'm thinking I may switch to "Opposite George" on my own selections, because right now - the LOGIC of betting on the better starter, backed by the better bullpen, supported by the better offense no longer seems to win more than lose...

I have my doubts they will get the Dodger/Minny game in but if they do I show the Dodgers with an approximate +1.8 run edge and the current line would be justified in such a case....BUT I am waiting to see if they start and watch the first inning or 2 before making a decision on a live bet...
They started the Dodger game and LAD has 2 on nobody out top of 1st but the line is -260.....waaaay too high...
Because of the weather advisory I backed off.....sure enough they won easily as I handicapped it, but missed out 
Had 2 bets on Washington (+150 and +1.5) and they were outplaying Philly and leading 8 - 6 top of the final inning........then their bullpen (Lord & Schultz) allowed 8 runs.
The Sea@Pitt game featured a whopping 4 errors!! plus 17 hits!! That combination would NORMALLY yield about 9 - 10 combined runs but likely more. I had a low total of OVER 7. They combined for only 5.
Baltimore scored 6 runs off 11 hits vs an average starter Monday. Tuesday, facing some schlepp named Johnson (dreadful 12.83 ERA;
even worse 2.33 WHIP! 
with 4 of 4 BAD outings among the games where he pitched at least 2.0 innings!) I had Orioles figured for at LEAST 6 again if not more......made 3 heavy bets on that logic......they score once.
Atlanta had the better starter and the better offense (BP roughly equal) but they lost in extras. That occurs frequently though so I don't lament that one so much as they others which defy logic altogether.....HUGE bad beats.

In his first 10 starts on the mound this season, 9 of them he held the opponent to 1 run or less, and one game to 2 ER - keeping opps to no more than 5 hits in all 10 starts! - for an awesome 0.74 ERA 
.....although Dodgers were only 6 - 4 in those games; not particularly good considering their HUGE advantage on the mound!....
suggests any odds favoring LAD by more than -145 might NOT be logically justified 
when win% expectation might only be 60% in his starts (only 50% recently while allowing 6 hits then 7 hits!)
