 2025 Final: 165 - 110  (60.0%) +25.67u ...was 74 - 71 on June 24!

 Last year:  186 - 117  (61.5%) +52.72u ...shut down at ASB

**Records are displayed as if all counted at one-unit each - irrespective how much $$ I actually bet on the games - which was frequently much higher than my usual 2% of BR each with MLB.

 I remember you Saying if degrom wins his last outing that you would fade his next game which was against halos and take halos I know your done with baseball but you still feeling that fade ?

 Halos unpredictable this year but of late haven’t won 2 in a row since Ariz and before that sweeping Boston and as a fan this is the best ball they have  played after the all star break feels like an eternity since but as a gambler I do like Texas

 Hey, bud! Yes, I did say and mean that at the time. ......but ....didn't know who the Angels would put opposite deGrom.  Sad to say but Kochanowicz is a near disaster, and facing a red hot revived RANGER'S offense.  In the 2 games he started vs Texas he pitched poorly - VERY POORLY in his last game, which was against these same RANGERS 18 days ago!

In his 17 game "hot streak without a bad outing"  the Rangers won 11 but still lost 6 of those GOOD performances by deGrom.  However he is backed by a better than avg bullpen.  But through most of his 17 starts in his hot streak, the RANGERS offense was NOT near as solid as they are now.  And run support is the other HALF of the equation! [ whopping 37 runs in recent 2 series!! ] deGrom is backed by BOTH run support and bullpen!

 Still, 17 straight going for 18 is bigtime defying the odds of him having an OFF DAY ....and facing HEAVY JUICE, I personally would hesitate to back TEXAS here.

OTOH, the starter for ANGELS suggests the hot bats of Texas could easily light him up!  I think at least 5+ runs against. And the poor guy is backed by a WEAK bullpen and just an average offense for run support...

If I was still handicapping - which I am not - I would likely forego the stress and just PASS.  I risk NOTHING by passing.  To me, there is no gun pointed at my head saying I MUST place a bet simply because that game is on the schedule....there are other games.

I give TEXAS odds of winning tonight at around 69% 

I would pass on either side.  A bad outing is imminent for deGrom - not by Angels offense per se, but rather, him simply having an inevitable "OFF DAY" like all pitchers do.

But even if he does the RANGERS would likely still have the edges.

If a gun was pointed at my head, then likely TEXAS, ml better than RL

  Yeah, it happens.  GOOD starters will occasionally have a BAD DAY, and BAD starters will occasionally have a GOOD DAY.  Previously I had thought of making a list of "BAD STREAK STARTERS" so likewise we might gauge when they may be increasingly likely to surprise and have a GOOD outing. 

Problem is, the BAD starters typically don't last long enough in MLB to attain such negative streaks...
