First vegas trip. Best sportsbook?

Ya will try to get over to Freemont.  Gunna be like the fastest weekend of my life running to see everything.  LV hilton craps at 10 min and 10x is awesome.  6 n 8 workin!  gotta love it.  I cant get off the pass line.  pass line and inside numbers all night long.  Will be there for the weekend of the 22nd in May so limit probably wont drop below 10 anywhere on strip or in LV hilton.  Staying in standard room and looks pretty nice.  Food is food to me as well so dont really care about expensive restaurants.  More money for baseball and craps.

Thanks everyone for your input.  Got a lot of great information out of this post.  everyone remembers their first trip to vegas and I sure will too.  Its been a long time coming and I cant wait to see it in person.  Keep letting me know what to do.  so excited to pop my vegas cherry.

are the payouts right away in vegas? I'm thinking of moving there just for sports wagering. tired of waiting for my check from these online sites

The Las Vegas Hilton is the best .Not afraid to take any bets. Stay away from Stations Casinos  its a chicken shit sports book.

Its so many good-looking women in there, an 8 will fall in your lap at around 130am....and she'll be from Orange County or the Bay Area.

Sportsbooks.......Hilton hands down, put your plays in then leave. Don't waste time watching games.

First trip absorb it all and just let the town come to you, it may sound wierd but tell yourslef you will see a few things each day that you wont see anywhere else.

You probably wont go, but Henderson NV (about 20 minutes from Vegas) Sunset Casino has the absolute hottest waitresses...no, the waitresses are some of the hottest women in vegas honestly, and the best and most comfortable sports book around... I live there basically.... if you are not going to leave the strip the Belagio is tops... have fun

South Point is the new best of the sportsbook has everything you need 2nd is the Hilton I'm always in vegas sportsbook. 3rd I would say bellagio. But southpoint is comfortable plenty on screens and the sportsbook is more modern than others its a must do if your betting.

Go to   ( LVRJ.com  )  which is the Las Vegas Review Journal newspaper site ... they have a feature call "Best of Las Vegas" ...  there they categorized everything Vegas has to offer from casinos to rent-a-cars to hotels to drug stores yada yada ... it's a must article for those going to Las Vegas !!!

Sounds good to me. Will have to check that out.  One of my biggest problems will be to not watch the games.  I hate having money on a game and not watching it but way to much to do instead of sitting and waiting for that last run to hit my over or that closer to get out of the bases loaded jam in the 9th.  God I love baseball!!!!

got darnit it was the BEST FOOD IVE EVER ATE IN MY LIFE !!

IF YOU HIT IT REALLY BIG dont hesitate to get a table in the kitchen!!

hands down it will be an oral orgasmic experience!!

ya  wont have enough time to worry about the stations casinos probably.  Way to many other things to see on my first trip.

Pokerbball23, forgot to mention, if your looking for an "old school" poker game, with a good chance of walking away a winner, check out el Cortez, downtown on Freemont St It's a 'local' place, that attract's small to unlimited players, definately worth taking a look,

The Hilton Sports Book is not only the best in Las Vegas, it is the best in the world according to the sharps. Best props and most liberal numbers on the board, free drinks if you show the cocktail waitress your betting slip and trust me that's not the norm in Vegas anymore. I lived there the last 3 years until the beginning of this year and not only do the heavy bettors hang there, but so do the locals because they know that all these other places have boards that are too conservative (hell you can just look at the boards and within 15 seconds see the difference from the rest of the strip)  but they (Bellagio, Mirage, Wynn, Caesars)  know the tourists are suckers and don't know the difference. Hilton, hands down. Not even close.
