First vegas trip. Best sportsbook?

I'm a big fan of the Gold Coast. The Sportsbook there is huge and yet very welcoming. However, being off the Strip a bit, It's probably not worth the drive out there just to place a bet. I only go there when I'm visiting a friend who lives near there.

If I'm on the Strip, I like Caesars the best. Was trying to get there today in fact but somebody I know had other plans for the day 

Also I checked out the M today for the first time. The Book there is freakin smaller than I thought it would be. Also alot of Young Bucks posting up in there tryin to look like Hard Core Hustlas. I wasnt impressed much with the place and could tell that it was all Style over Substance in there(what the hell was that smell!!!)

Venetian is definitely worth a visit, Tao Night Club is SLAPPING!!! 
Planet Hollywood for the "Pleasure Pit" (a bit of visual pleasure when blowing your money)

Ceasar for shopping..not for GAMBLING, maybe except at the "box Cat Lounge"

Imperial Palace when you really DRUnK or CrunK

MGM ia great place to gamble !

Palms is lame...unless you have a room on the top floor

Wynn limits are definitely higher then anywhere else only thing good there is the golf course and Le REVE

Hard Rock for "REHAB"

Palazzo for the fine dine~!

Mandalay Bay for Buffet

and to answer yur question about books....ANYWHERE IS #@$! VEGAS THEY TAKE BETS ANYWHERE ALL DAY EVERYDAY!!!

I miss the Stardust   they don't have sportsbooks like that anymore.

I used to play slot tourneys there. Printed money.

Clubs....

Pure is Ok , nice upper floor outdoor lounge/ Dancing area, way too expensive to get in thou...especially if you in a large group....i think the last time we were there we had 12-17 in a group and they were asking for 6k-7k for all of us

40/40 has a bunch of VIP ROOMS......alot of hip hop...a good place to mingle wiith fiends if you looking for a VIP room....the dance floor is kind of a-a mess, ...things everywhere, wouldnt recommend it....we got the  A-Rod Room last time, it set us back about 3-4k

Tao is the best, great atmosphere, nice ambience, beautiful people, great variety of music, multi dance rooms....Vip table run about

if you looking for bottle service and a table PLEASE i HIGHLY RECOMMEND getting a table in the middle of the VIP section

YOU WONT REGRET IT!!! and the price is cheaper then  PURE & 40/40

heres a small description of what you get at TAO VIP Table:

2 attractive go go dancer in a Giant coffee cup in front of you dancing and occassionaly winking at you

and once your head gets a little heavy from drinking , dont worry theres a remedy comming.....just lay back and look up and you'll have 2 more go go dancer DIRECTLY above you swagging away....and from what i remenber one of the chicks was from the Usher video....SLAPPING
 
Smoking AVAILABLE in the CLUB AT THE VIP SECTION ONLY!!! (i was blown away by this)

Consistant hospitility, they wipe the table, fill the shots, pop the bottle, light your smokes, change the ashtry....

WHAT MORE CAN I SAY, BUT GO TO TAO!!!!!

oh yeah we paid about under 2k for 7 of us at TAO but it was way worth it and much better then PURE or 40/40

if you taking the monorail, scratch "Red Rock" is way too far from the stripe.

believe me sportsbook will be everywhere but the real question is, will your mind be on sports?

Wow  thanks dkd.  Tao is very highly recommended by all the people i know that have been there.   Any places that are great for single guys like me and buddy that are going.  I mean i know girls will be everywhere but any special hot spots?
