AL West Rangers Angels Mariners A's (Two team division)
AL Central Detroit White Sox KC Cleveland Twins
AL East Yanks Rays Red Sox Blue Jays Orioles
NL East Phils Nats Braves Marlins Mets
NL Central Cards Reds Brewers Pirates Cubs Stros
NL West Giants DBacks Rockies Dodgers Padres
AL Central was tough. (After Detroit, there is not much separating the rest of these teams)

AL Central after detroit is extremely weak n my opinion AL East, and NL East are the toughest see Washngton makng a improvement but 2nd place mght be to high

I had a very tough time deciding between
Nats - a lot of potential but may be a year away Marlins - nice free agents and new stadium Braves - always have good seasons
Nats are going to need a lot of production from some young, untested players to finish higher than 3rd or 4th in the East.

imho...i'm a homer i see them finishing higher then the rays so,,,atleast 3rd but i could see em fighting for a playoff spot for that wild card sport
Nothing wrong with that. I'd love to see the Jays in the playoffs again (or any team that hasn't been there in a while).
But when I compare the rosters between the Jays and Rays, the Rays come out on top by a wide margin. Bullpen is probably a push, but I like the Rays lineup, defense and starting pitcher more than Toronto. But this is early, and I haven't done a lot of homework on these teams.

AL East is very good 1 to 4, but I like both the Angels and Rangers better than the #2 AL East team.
NL West might be a deep conference. Padres don't look too good, but the other 4 teams all have something going for them.
Rockies - need some better luck more than anything. Helton and Giambi are going to be the keys for the Rockies. If they both struggle, it will be a long year. Tulo is a good choice for NL MVP this year.
DBacks - good last year, still improving, and Kirk Gibson is a trememndous coach.
Giants - great pitching 1 to 4, and they seem to develop a new pitcher every year. Hitting will be about the worst in either league which can be a problem unless you are winning 3-1 every night.
Dodgers - a lot of turmoil, but you may be able to pencil in Kemp as the MVP and Kershaw the Cy Young for the next few years. Dodgers have little depth and will need a lot of luck and bounceback years from Loney and Ethier. But they finished strong LY, which is always a good sign.

Pirates are going to be +2000 to win the Central. I don't see it happening, but I guess "on of these years" they have to win, right?
When I match up their roster with the Cardinals there is nothing I like about the Pirates better than the Cards. A good year for them would be to finish 3rd or 4th and above .500.

Thorpe i have the cards winning 79 games. Too much turnover No LaRussa,Duncan and Pujols. I've been saying for 2 years watch the cardinals go into the tank when albert leaves. I don't trust Baker in Cincinnati and The Brewers will have no Fielder and No Braun for 50 games. I like the Pirates young pitchers,Bullpen and Hitting. Who picked Arizona to win the N.L. west last year? I'm going out on a limb

AL East: Yankees AL Central: Tigers AL West: Angels Wildcard: Rangers - AL East teams such as the Rays and Red Sox will beat up on each other.
NL East: Phillies NL Central: Cardinals - I like their pitching even without Duncan and LaRussa. I just think they will make a trade deadline move to win the division. I can't trust any other team. NL West: Diamondbacks Wildcard: Miami Marlins - very improved in my opinion. Ozzie was a wonderful addition.
Playoffs: Tigers beat the Rangers. Angels over Yankees Phillies over Diamondbacks Marlins over Cardinals Tigers over Angels - Tigers have a better bullpen. Phillies over Marlins Tigers beat Phillies in 6.
