The way the Dallas Stars have been playing lights out trying to make the playoffs and Chicago on the B2B after a satisfying win at St Louis, (where St. Louis was actually favored) I like Dallas tonight as a value play at +160 or whatever you find.

Utah -3

The Utah Jazz are in a must-win situation tonight. They need to win their final two games of the regular season while having the Los Angeles Lakers lose their finale against Houston to earn a spot in the playoffs.

Knowing that they’ll be laying it all on the line for a win tonight, I’ll gladly back the Jazz as a small road favorite over the Minnesota Timberwolves (30-50). This is certainly one team that they have no problem against given their recent head-to-head history.

Utah is 4-0 SU in its last four meetings with Minnesota. It is 6-1 ATS in its last seven meetings with the Timberwolves as well. Dating back further, the Jazz are 10-2 SU in their last 12 meetings in this series with all 10 wins coming by 4 points or more.

While Utah comes in well-rested and on two days’ rest having last played on Friday, Minnesota is a very tired team heading into this one. In fact, the Timberwolves will be playing their 5th game in 7 days, which is one of the toughest spots in the NBA today, especially late in the season.

The Jazz are 9-3 ATS in their last 12 games vs. a team with a losing S.U. record. Utah is 5-0 ATS in its last 5 road games. The Timberwolves are 7-17-2 ATS in their last 26 games vs. a team with a winning S.U. record. Minnesota is 5-16-1 ATS in its last 22 games following a S.U. win. Bet the Jazz Monday.

Do you remember if McShady and Semper only used to chase dogs? or if they chased faves at a favorable price as well? I can't remember and my hope is that you do..obviously since they are not around to answer this question.

If anyones got a formula for chasing totals..I'd love to hear it. and Angle I'm starting to track teams beginning a series "top 10 in $, @home being a fave in at least 1 game avoiding a sweep." seems profitable.

I think semper did dogs and shady never went over -120. Im trying to follow that method and its working for me. I'm playing dogs more often. On totals look at the trends on here. I think I'm about 7-1 BC of the trends, but i haven't been tracking that

I like to hear more about your home tracking if you don't mind :)

hi2ak, dogs and totals were all they ever chased, but occasionally a team would be a small fave in one game.

Here's an NBA small play, glad to get the winner last night on Utah, but Atlanta is not as desperate.

Hawks -6

This is the worst time of year to try to predict NBA Basketball not like any other time of the year is much easier with the way some teams play one night and the opposite the next. This Hawks team has to win tonight if they want to hold onto the 5th seed. At this point of the year its almost foolish to bet on a team with nothing to play for going against a team with something to play for. Take the Hawks or skip NBA completely if you want, I've not bet very many at all in the last 2 weeks.

Nice winner on Minn Wild last night. 15-3 on official plays NHL. This is the worst year ever for this system, no losses last 4 years then this year. Probably something to do with the schedule, etc.

Forgot this one...DODGERS -1.5 single game but may chase if it loses. Juice high today and even higher tomorrow with Kershaw. Therefore RL-1.5.
